dlbalr
Rynnas, despite being told he'll be recalled tomorrow, is in net for Toronto. The Marlies lead 1-0 after 1, shots are 11-3 bad guys. None of the 4 injured players listed in the first post are in the lineup which means they're using the same ugly lines from Saturday. dlbalr
2-2 now nearing the halfway point of the 3rd. Chaput (PP) and Blunden have the goals for the Bulldogs.
miklin
Dogs win 3-2. Beaulieu gets credit for the winning goal but some folks figure Dumont got it. To me, second goal looked like Tenute all the way but it must have hit Blunden on the way in. Comical watching Marlie Coach Dallas Eakins (why does everyone pronounce it like Akins?) get the boot from the game for protesting too much. He threw his clipboard on the ice and was about to let loose with a folding chair. I think he thought there might have been interference on the winning goal. He didn't like a goalie interference penalty his team took but the second Marlie goal could have been waved off for incidental contact. Officials were Dave Lewis from Oshawa and Darcey Burchell from Hamilton. Darcey went out of his way earlier in the game to show he wasn't favouring his hometown. If you check the box score, you see why we sometimes question who picks the three stars. It's not the CHAM radio crew btw. Dumont has 3 assists-may be changed to 2 assists and one goal and doesn't get a star but instead gets the bonus award-the Dan Lawrie Insurance Hardest Working deal ps-regardless of what the radio crew says, I won't miss the Blue and White one bit for the rest of the season and the sub class of Laff Nation that shows up wearing outdated Leaf garb.
