miklin
facebook page of the ECHL San Francisco Bulls is reporting that Schultz (along with Mark Isherwood who played two games for the Bulldogs this season on a PTO) have been sent (with one more player) from Utah to San Francisco in exhange for four players on the Bulls rosters. I had mentioned on another topic that the Bulls had used 49 players this year. Add three more. Confusing as hell to new fans of a first year team eh? miklin
official now-Schultz is listed as a reassignment by the Montreal Canadiens and the Bulls will make his third ECHL club this season. Other player from Utah to SF is Kory Falite. Utah received Jordan Clendening, Sebastien Trudeau, Jonathan Lesard and Cory Carlson from the the Bulls
Lammy
Is this a trade situation or one of the ECHLs infamous "on loan" situations?
miklin
Ian-pretty well sure "on assignment" is the same as "on loan". ML
dlbalr
At this point, it's all about trying to make a positive impression as I think there's a pretty good chance Schultz will be looking to sign full-time with an ECHL team next year.
