bookworm
i'd start off the season with kovalev, zednick and ribiero myself, and go from there. on another note, i wonder if eventually the shootouts will trickle all the way down to kids minor hockey, and the other rule changes for that matter. lazy26
1 - Kovalev 2 - Ryder 3 - Zednik 4 - Ribeiro 5 - Koivu then... 6 - Perezhogin, 7 - Dagenais, 8 - Souray, 9- Begin, 10 - Plekanec [Edited on 2005/9/30 by lazy26]
les_glorieux
WHAT gotta have Dags in there if he's playing. if not: 1. Kovalev 2. Zednik 3. Koivu 4. Ribeiro 5. Ryder 6. Perezhogin Dags would slide in at the third spot in front of Ribeiro, who might switch with Koivu, depending on the night. ~moeman
CCR = Ryder A play on C.C.Ryder and of course the great band.
shortcat1
Based on what we've seen so far, I'd say Kovalev Dagenais Perezhogin (Plekanec)
JLP
Kovalev Ryder Dagenais

Fanpuck33_
I would say Zednik, Ryder, and Kovalev. They are the purest goal scorers on the team. Dagenais has a good shot, but I don't know how well he'd do in a shootout.
Rooster
Think Kovalev, Ryder, Dags and Perezhogin have so far showed the most potential on shootouts. Surprisingly, have found Ribs to be just brutal so far.
simonus
thats because ribs isnt much of a sniper, he is a playmaker. His talent is working the ice with other players. Solo, he is perforce less impressive.

About ten ties a year means a lot of points up for grab in those shootouts, of course mostly against EC teams. So working on this is good, nice to see Habs led by Kovalav are winning more shootouts then we are losing so far.
BTH
Kovalev would be a shootout player on any team in the league. His shot nis just so great and if there's an opening he can deke, too. But personally I hate deking on a penalty shots; it lowers your chances of a goal. Dagenais has a nice shot and is 2 for 3 or something in the shootouts so far. If Perezhogin makes the team he would be a good choice. He's already won us 2 shootouts with the final shot. Ryder might be a good choice. He also scored a beautiful breakaway on Hasek last night. Zednik is a goal scorer so he would be a top choice. We have enough options not to worry. I wonder if any teams are using defenceman in the shootouts.
