shortcat1
Another Red Line Report on the last draft and another encouraging report for the Canadiens: 6. Cameron Cepek/Montreal: #199 The bad wrist injury that curtailed his season and limited him to 21 games cost him a shot at going potentially as high as the second round. Was just coming into his own and loves the physical aspect of the game despite his thin build. Nobody ever questioned his offensive upside. Chips
Injuries are a fact of playing in a physical sport like hockey. The ones who survive, are the ones who bounce back or are able to avoid it. The habs are not shy at picking up prospects who are injured or have been; as long as the mentality and heart and ability to recover and move on exist. I'm glad we invest in the scouting department the way we do. Its their job to make sure the make up of a prospect is larger than just his stats.
