jetsniper
Probably about as many who knew Sakic could fight. I still remember him kicking Gilmour's ass.

Drivefor25
sure did and man was he sorely mistaken. I don't think he ever dropped the gloves sonce then, and if so he never threw a punch
Tony
In Mario Lemieux's rookie season, he got into a fight with a well known scrapper in the league and beat him. So people actually started thinking that he could drop the gloves every so often and fight. Lemieux said that he had no idea how he won since he beats a pretty well-known enforcer. Thinking he could win another fight, Lemieux picked a fight with another and got his ass kicked. Lemieux said that was the end of his enforcer career. Read that from his book. I forgot what it's called too A very old book. I don't think he was inducted in the Hockey Hall of Fame yet when the book came out.
jetsniper
I thought Lemiuex fought Konowalchuk at the 2002 Olympics as well? Or atleast got into a scuffle.
Tony
The book I read was written in like mid 1990s. There's definitely some new stuff that he did throughout the years.
