  1. For all I know, he might actually be happy there are no Canadian teams in the playoffs. If playoff runs help to spark interest and gate receipts in mediocre American markets, that might be considered a good investment in the product's future. It's certainly not Buttman's fault that it's a US-only playoff, however. And in that sense how he "feels" about it is immaterial. If we want Canadian teams in the playoffs, well, it's up to those teams to actually put talent on the ice.

You can't say Lessio is better than Byron when Lessio has two goals and six points in his NHL career (only one assist with the Habs in 8 games) while Paul Byron has nine goals and 14 points just in this season. He has yet to prove he has any offensive instinct to compare to Byron, much less be better.
