Watch when Bergevin has his year end press conference this is what he will bring up 1) he believes this is a playoff team and that's always the goal to make the playoffs. 2) then he will blame the injuries to key players like Gallagher and Armia, Byron 3) then he will throw players under the bus that under preformed, Kotkaniemi, domi, just to name a few. He will say they need to be better and take the next step. 4) then he will do it to price and say if the team is to have any success price needs to be better. Pretty much the same BS he has said the last 5 years. Pretty much pointing the finger at everyone / everything but himself.

Its an escape goat excuse, that has been used the past what 5 years now. no one blames Depth or lack of talent or management........ But everyone blames injuries and the guy making 10mil. In today's NHL you can't win with just 1 elite player its just to deep of a league. You need depth and balance from top to bottom in your organization. Something Montreal has never had.

Same old excuses with this team the last 4 years. We just played and lost to a team that has had just about the same if not more injuries this year. Plus lost their top offensive player and goaltender to Free Agency and they're still in a playoff spot.

Why is everyone acting like this is new. Montreal gets pushed around very easily when playing team's that are bigger and faster then they are. Montreal has never been a physical team, We're built around the transition game. I don't think Montreal is built for the long-haul of an full season and playoffs, which is why we go on slides and can't recover from them like top NHL team's do.

Watch when we play teams bigger than us and see what happens.

Its not tanking when you're already out of a playoff spot. Tanking is when you do it right out of the gate. Their is no point of a playoff push , because theirs no chance we're making it. So what's better option play for a pick 15-20, or play for a pick 5-12?

I still think we should be trying to get a top 10 lottery pick in the draft rather than try for something that where not going to get which is a playoff spot. I have said from day 1 which got me ripped For it, the problem is we just don't have the depth in the organization to be a contender. When Drouin got hurt I said Bergevin better make a trade or we're going to be in trouble. He didn't and we lost 8 in a row twice. The good terms have the depth in the organization to over come key injuries and still make the playoffs. All we do every time is tail spin out of control.
