Shit game, it would have been a shit game even if we won it. Its even worse that we lost. I'll place a lot of blame on everyone including that bastard Fraser. Why do we keep getting that piece of shit ref. Start the game with a 5-3, way to set the tone. The second call was weak. You give a 5-3 for a penalty like that. The first goal of a game is huge, especially against a team like New Jersey. I think Fraser takes bribes or just has a hate on for certain teams in the league.

Ribs is better than he's playing now, but he's steadily been improving. He'll be back to where we want him to be by the end of the year.

At least now we can say "wait til Kovy's back" instead of "Theo's a bum" hahaha That will be a positive. I hope Kovalev comes back with an extra gear. Sometimes I saw him blow done the ice, super fast. Most of the time it was more like the Harlem Globe Trotters, skating at a leisure pace and pissing off the whole other team because they couldn't knock him down or take the puck away. If you have an old tape try it out, play the harlem globe trotters theme music when Kovalev has the puck.

If there is a call up I'd like to see Ferland play again. He finishes his hits and plays with intensity. No question with Kovalev, we wait. He's awesome!

I'll take a loss where the Habs played well anyday. The shots Theo was scored on were hard ones. Belfour made 18 saves in the first where the majority were not quality. You still expect to catch him with his head down at some point, but most of the shots were right on. Plekanec shoots the puck always right at the goalie and there are a lot of other players doing the same. They need to take out the pucks and practice shooting the corners and cutting to the net.

On the last thread there were a few pretty insulting remarks about international Habs fans. Just want to say that its pretty great having international support for the Habs. It proves that our team is like those great soccer clubs in Europe with support all around the world. When we rely on international players to give us wins, any comment against international fans is in pretty bad taste. The only fan I hate is a Leafs fan followed by a Bruins fan:devil:

Thats the kind of unfounded arrogance that keeps the Leaf nation alive. Without that self-deception the Leafs would have folded a decade ago. Instead of listening call in and ask where the parade is!

We'll bounce back, the thing that really matters is that we were the better team. Toronto can only hope for bullshit goals and Belfour magic for so many games before it catches them. If we were in the playoffs against each other I'd honestly say Habs in 5. Its been a long time since I could feel that way.

I still think Begin is awesome, he had to do some wicked moves to even hit that post. What killed us was that total horseshit goal at the end of the third period, end of story. When stuff like that happens, turn the tv off grab a beer and turn your favorite music up. And remember that all Leafs and Leaf fans are born losers. I turned on English CBC just to see what they were saying after a game Toronto clearly didn't deserve to win. Naturally they had their pompoms out making the perfect cheer. All about what Toronto did, nothing about how frustrating a loss it was for Montreal. I missed the first few seconds but thats at least how they wrapped up. My advice, unless you like rolling naked through glass, DON'T WATCH ENGLISH CBC. I'd sooner watch the game commentated in Chinese than English as long as its run by Toronto. Honestly, put it on mute use internet radio or just work on your French. I'm seriously concerned for the health of my fellow habs fans. You never feel good watching the Habs play on English CBC. Just remember we let Toronto win
