They dont beacuse if the player can change sticks quickly to a legal one and the challenge is incorrect you get a double minor. So you would have to do it while the player was far enough from the bench. It is a tough call and you just never know its a huge risk.

Hey makes 3.1 mill 30 years old and we just dont need him, he is not even very big listed at 5 11 thats nothing. I would rather see Plex Zhogin and Higgs soak up the ice
-
I agree option+ it would be awesome to see Zhogin back on the first line he is very exciting and I think given time could click with Zednik. I hope with the next few days off Julien finds a permanent fit for our line-up.

I am happy Theo is Back well at least if he plays like this he is. Theo stood on his head tonight and hats off to our PK wow 13 straight kills against the potent offence of Hot Atlanta. -

Anyone know where I can see a clip of Théo's shootout save on Hossa last night? The game clips on canadiens.com stop with Dagenais's goal and the clips on NHL.com are exactly the same. www.tsn.ca/nhl find the article and sign up for tsn E@mail and you can watch it. -
Komisarek will score his first goal tonight if he plays

If the Habs come out flying they will win and win big, if not it will be tight. But if they do come out flying 7 or 8 goals tonight, maby 2 hat tricks Ryder and Zednik well it would be nice to see anyway. -
Yeah for sure he will be ok. I saw on sports net that the team and coaches went to visit him and he was reported being jovial.
-
Yeah I am happy that time is now in our past. Bob has this team going in the direction to book a parade route down St. Catherines in the next few years
-
yeah I enjoyed them all if you want another funny one search lemieux on google video and watch the video game one
-
Hahaha you never know I hope somehow he can score 6 goals in 3 or 4 games on the PP and a team with a struggling PP will make us an offer
-
Game was PPD? anyone know until when

HAT TRICK LATENDRESSE
-
I am watching the game. He had a seizure on the bench CPR was administered and he is responsive at a local Detroit hospital
-
latendresse scores gets his own rebound
-
are you sure its his brother
-
Ok I can understand that. And if julien is going to show some faith to the young guys and leave them on a line for 5 or 6 games yeah but if he does not trust them for an entire game then maybe Gainey does need to add a little experience to the team. I agree with you entirely though only if Julien can instil confidence in the rookies and does not toy with their emotions and confidence.

Rico Fata was placed on waivers. His salary is 551,000 and I think would fit well in with the Habs although he has not scored this year he is exciting and fast not to mention he is not very small 6 Foot 210 pounds. I think he would fit in well anyone else think gainey might pick him up.

This will be a tough game. Habs have allowed 10 goals in their last 2 and 18 in their last 4. Thrashers have proved they can score even against teams with good goalies and good team defence. If the habs come out flat expect another blow out of epic proportions. I hope this does not happen, I hope julien lights a fire under their ass and they come out firing on all cylinders, because I for one do not want to see another display like Saturday. -

Nice job Les Glorieux very nice Go habs Go hopefully we will see a better proformance tonight. And I think Danis will start tonight not shaky theo -
That was a shitty game to say the least. We missed Bonk on the PK tonight hope he is back soon. Also wow Theo looked shaky I will be happy to see Danis tomorrow. At least he has confidence, maybe Theo’s injury is worse should give him the Caps and Thrashers game off.

Sorry I thought theo was playing

He got nominated because he coached a team with almost 650 man games lost to injury to within a point of the playoffs. That is like having 8 regulars out the entire year due to injury. After that season he was fired bad break for him. He was a marvellous coach. From what I remember that season he had the same line-up for about 5 games that’s it.

I was at this game tonight and Florida did not loose it the first PP goal came on a Cairns penalty that is iffy at best. That’s fine though I know the crackdown is still in effect but after Alfie scored Cairns came out of the box and had a few choice words for the Zebra. He then got 2 for unsportsmanlike, which is a total slap in the face because no one else would have got that penalty. So the sens went back to the PP and alfie again tickled the twine. Cairns then had a few more choice words for the ref, which this time he decided to skate away from and do nothing. That would have been the correct choice the first time dummy. Another thing I did not like about this game was the phantom assist that Heatly got. On the second alfie goal he never touched the puck but there is an assist, keep that point streak going. On a positive the panthers will be full of vim and vigour for the leafs Saturday.
