  1. Once again, the Bruins with the fortune on their side. Both goals just land right on a Bruins stick.
  2. DD has some St. Louis in him. Reminds me of Gerbe in Buffalo. He is an NHL player, no doub about that anymore.
  3. Luck gods were not on our side in that period. Price was on that deke like Lindsay Lohan on a line of blow.
  4. So Subban jerk. Marchand fireplug? My 7 year old son said "I hate Mr. Big nose" when Marchand scored.
  5. This series has been dead even. Hopefully the Habs can steal tonight like the Bruins did game four.
  6. We'll see. Ryder hadn't done anything before the 3rd period in game four.
  7. The puck hit a skate and bounced right on Marchand's stick. Pleks made a mistake and they scored. How many Bruins made a mistake when Ryder made a glove save? This isn't the Titanic, lots of time.
  8. They are a solid hockey team. No more, no less. This is not a Cup contender, so expecting that they will outpost the Bruins for 20+ periods is not reality. They are 1 shot away from a tie.
  9. They won two series playing like this last year. They are half a game removed from dominating the Bruins. This is hockey. Ups and downs.
  10. The Bruins started working harder and caught some breaks. Habs were out chancing them 16-6 and were only up 3-2 last game. The Bruins and Habs have both had a couple of pucks bounce just out of reach tonight. The one that doesn't is going to end up in the back of the net. First minute had two pucks sitting there waiting for a stick. And there is the bounce.
  11. You need to get lucky to float a shot through that much traffic. Ference had that fortune last game, he couldn't hit that spot on the move 1 of 25 times without a goalie. It looks like the team who gets the most fortunate break is going to win tonight.
  12. Hey look, tough guy Marchand against Pleks.
  13. This is the bend but don't break D they played in 2010.
  14. All of that production was from one game. If Montreal had held on last game they would point to the Bruins best players not being their best players.
  15. Cammalleri very weak and uncommitted on the half board puck support. They are being outworked everywhere.
  16. Halpern should have shot the puck and waited for the 20 foot rebound.
  17. What else needs to happen for you to see this series is dead even? You just played both sides with that statement. Montreal wins you have that covered. Bruins win you have that covered. What has occured through 4 games that is indicative of superiority?
  18. The Habs record at home in the playoffs over the last decade is awful. 2002 - 3-3 2004 - 1-4 2006 - 0-3 2008 - 4-3 2009 - 0-2 2010 - 3-4 2011 - 0-2 11-21 @ home with that crowd? That is horrible. Contrast that to their road record in that same time span 2002 - 3-4 2004 - 3-3 2006 - 2-1 2008 - 1-4 2009 - 0-2 2010 - 5-6 14-20 including three game seven victories on the road.
  19. I want so badly for them to figure out the Devils system and commitment that my confirmation bias rears it's ugly head when they manage to pretend they figured it out, in all reality they just aren't good enough to take this in 4 or 5. With a full squad the Bruins would be already out, even with Savard, but that is not reality.
