Plex's on fire tonight!

Huet just saved our butts again! And a good shift by the Koivu line. Wait the line of Bonk, sammy and Kovy was an accident... this time.

Carbo just put bonk out with Kovy and Sammy. I like the experiment but will it payoff?

Good Game thus far; I'm afraid we may have awakened the bolts; The habs seem to be working at trying to look better than last time. I will admit that I'm disappointed in Ryder tonight but looks like he knows he needs to step it up. He worked hard and drew a penalty late into the second. Its also positive to see Kovy and Plex's working hard and finally getting a few good bounces. Although Kovy's show was just pure skill at work! Great shot! lets hope he keeps shooting it. I feel like Kovy wants this game and it shows. The third will be exciting, I"m putting my money on Koivu and Johnston to score for us next. Huet is playing well again but he needs help; he cannot have eyes in the back of his head; that last goal was not his fault, he had no chance on stopping it. And where is sammy ? And why is Downey playing tonight? The only time I saw him out taking a shift he looked like his head was spinning and had jellow for legs... I'm encouraged that Bob is back and is probably watching all this and making his list. Everyone better be on their best behaviour in the coming weeks and its starts tonight. Go HABS GO!

I'm ready for a change... a swap sure... The question is with whom? I'd be happy with St. Louis, Columbus, Chicago, L.A. or Phoenix. Any top or second line centerman I'd take and be happy to part with anyone on our current roster, but it must translate into more goals and more energy and a consistant scoring threat! GO HABS GO! And lets have our KIDS play; give them some NHL ice time; its the only way we encourage depth players to over achieve. GO HABS GO!

What is it about playing teams down south. I cannot take losing to these teams that don't have any right to be playing this game; In Montreal losing one is terrible; and awful; Losing two game is down right crap and cannot be taken lightly; its time we shake up things at least in a small way. Call up Laps and give our kids a chance for more ice time in the bigs; Lets look for that Center that we need so badly we may just find him internally with our group; At a minimum; deny anymore turkey dinners! why is it that when ever we take a break be it christmas, new years eve; the olympics or the all star game; the habs seem to doze off into lala land and forget how to play the game with the intensity that brought them to the top. We are certainly gunning in the right part of the standings all I'm saying is lets not sleep this off and hope that the ship will right itself; this is a matter that cannot be ignored; When a team challenges us and scores a goal we should respond; with energy to take the momentum back; We cannot hope and pray that they just give us a handout of goals; we need that sure game breaker that scorer who can make it happen when the Chips are down! Well; anyone still think belfour is done and should retire; I remember back to this summer, when florida signed him there were quite a few nay sayers. He certainly proved Iron Mike K.. correct today; I certainly am grateful we don't have to play them again this season. Lets rest suite up and get ready for tomorrow night. GO Habs Go!

Prediction time... 4-3 habs; Our scorers on the first and second line better wake up. We need early pressure and big time D. This should be a good test for us. My Opinion has changed so many times on this... But my current mind set is that if the rules are open for anyone to be voted in for each of the positions; and if the fans vote someone in; then what right does anyone have to prevent or say thing against the fans! Afterall this game is about entertainment; and if the fans are entertained and want to vote for Rory then go for it! I would prefer to see a Canadiens player like Huet!

Not sure if Laps will get another tryout with the big team; unless we have another injury or a deal gets done by Gainey that makes room for players to move up...

He has put up good stats thus far since joining the Dogs. I think in 7 games he has four points; two goals... Glad he is contributing on the score sheet. With his size he must keep O'bryne company; Now he won't feel left out. GO DOgS Go!

I just looked at the season stats; thus far the scoring has been well balanced coming from everyone on the team; Sounds like the farm team is playing a similar well balanced game; similar to the Big Team; Things are going well; lets hope the team can keep up the pace and keep on improving; I'm also quite impressed with Halak. Its nice to have depth in the AHL it keeps the entire system for the Canadiens moving on all cylinders. Go Dogs Go!

Price; has been excellant thus far; This part of this career is turning out better than expected. If his resume if filled with experiences like this one, he may find a fast track to the AHL in a hurry. And then who knows what the future could bring but knowing he is reliable and has solid fundamentals is every encouraging. worthy of being drafted #1 by les Canadiens. Go Price Go! Go Canada GO! Go Habs Go!

well I'm signing off.. this was a heck of a slow night. Everyone from the habs to this site; everyones on christmas break I guess. This was a game that we did not deserve to win; but Huet did! Thanks to Lats and Downey???! yes the third and fourth lines won this game for us. I guess thats what you need to make it the distance in this league; we need to win game in every way possible. GO habs GO and Goodnight habsworld! Thanks for a fun night at the good ol' HOckEY gamE!
