He didn't blow anything and as for work ethic his coach on the 2001 U18 World Junior Championships Russian Team said his work ethic was amazing so I think i'll take his opinion over someone who can't look beyond his own bias. Thanks.

I think in a couple years the Habs lose rights to him and then anyone can sign him no? Reguardless I doubt he will come back while Carbo coaches, he got royally screwed over and getting away from this team at that time was his best move. I would not be suprised if Perezhogins and Samsonovs treatments is one of the reasons Emelin is not here yet. Alienating such a skilled pool of players seems to be the coaching staffs main talent. He played well on the 1st line but was quickly removed, bounced around, landed on the checking line and since he isn't a checker took lots of bad hooking penalties. Incredibly fast player, 1st line potential. I think picking him up would be tough for some teams reguarding his history and how he injured that one player. Everyone keeps saying "be patient, give it time", "yatta yatta" and "so on" But really you can accomplish anything in enough time. You could say be patient for the next fifty years and eventually the stars will align and you'll win one. To me this is unacceptable, these are the years this teams rookies pay off and we make a run for the cup. What about 25 by 100? I don't hear people saying that too much nowadays because this team hasn't changed much in 5 years. We got some mediocre role players for the 3rd and 4th lines, a rookie coach who calls out players at the drop of a hat and the same weak undisiplined work ethic that leaves our above average goaltending flapping in the breeze. This is going to be a keystone year for the future of the habs. If we lose Huet and Ryder for nothing I don't see this team competing for a long time. It's not that they are that valuable but their value needs to be capitalized on so that we can replace them with already talented players.

Bruins can draft the next coming of Jesus for all I care, we will still beat them. If there is any team in the NHL the habs love to inflict pain upon it's Boston.

Huet has been putting up with this same effort for a couple years now, this wont change. Until we get the trade we need Montreal will only be a mediocre team, our talent and goaltending will forever be offset by gutless play and lack of work ethic.

We are still lacking the one thing we have needed for years, a purely offensive 1st line winger for Koivu. I wouldn't put the blame on Price because 3 goals aren't that big of a deal, thats a pretty average amount of goals to allow. The blame rests solely on those responsible for making trades. Who else is missing Dandy on the 1st line? lol

The way I see it Huet deserves the majority of the games, he is the #1 and it's about time someone put some confidence in him. What Carbo has said here is he has less confidence in him than the backup goalie. It put across a bad message and we now might end up with two shakey goalies.

Ottawa gets a couple quick goals, we chase them the rest of the game and ultimatly lose. Everyone is still happy because we didn't get blown out and we all go back to enjoying our mediocrity. Price will play strong but will be hung out to dry. 4-2 Ottawa

Breaks up good lines = I still havn't seen the Higgins/Plekanec/Kosty line since last year when it was lethal and single handedly almost got us into the playoffs. And why the hell isn't Koivu playing with Kovalev? Alienates non french players = From Kovalev to Perezhogin to Samsonov to Kosty he really seems to dislike them. Plays favorites = Latendresse on the 1st line, no more is needed to be said. Doesnt learn from mistakes = Stop with this defensive shit gameplay! Seriously it's getting old. Never admits his own faults = Last night was not the first time he's tossed a player in front a bus before he got a little mud on his pant leg. Samsonov was one player last year, Perezhogin another. Scapegoats players = Already explained. Forces gifted players into roles they arent suited for = Perezhogin on checking line, Dandenault playing forward when we have players like Chipchura and Lapierre deserving ice time.
