  1. According to CenterIce package website it's a free priview for everyone untill Oct 9th. So we all get to see it. WOOOOOOHOOOOO!!!! http://www.indemand.com/sports/nhl/index.jsp
  2. Just keep watching the season unfold, that kid is good. It's like thinking Laps blows because he didn't make the team for the moment, so he had a bad camp, he'll fight his way back in. But hey, I guess my comments look bad for the moment, I'm still sticking by them.
  3. He is following in the footsteps of a former great habs who wore the great 71 himself. O.K if we want to win on Wednesday we need to do one thing. Don't let Eric Cole look at the puck let alone touch it. You hear that Carbo. That's all you need to let the players know and the win is ours.
  4. Very good points BTH. I really like Carbo and want him to find success behind the bench, that is for sure. It just seemed strange how Gainey was high on the horse of his decisions. You are probably right though.
  5. WILL WE SEE GAINEY BEHIND THE BENCH AGAIN IN 2008? Is anyone as surprised as I am how in the last couple of weeks and last couple of press conferences Gainey has vocally stepped on Carbo's feet. Both of their thoughts, ideals and future plans have been printed in the media and then Gainey steps up to the mic and says.....It's my decision, and I have the last word, and this is how it's going to be. Carbo' tune always changes right after " Ummm....ya....Ummm.....It's about winning ....sure..... ya.....winning" I don't have a problem with it. I love the way Gainey address's all situation's. Never beats around the bush and always tell's it how it is. It does sound as though they have butted heads this entire trainig camp in a bad way. To the point that Gainey has to announce it to the media as SO. It worries me a little only because Carbo had trouble getting respect last year and this won't help. Guys like Kovalev will take a situation like this and use it as an excuse to be an ass. I hope I'm wrong but I can't help but feel something ain't right between Gainey and Carbo to my extreme surprise.
  6. That is so good.......so ######in good...........I hope they make some noise because it would br fun calling for that at a game. Nice one!!!!!!!
  7. I wouldn't lose too much sleep over these questions. Both Murray and Beezer are expierienced cheap players that in the worst situation will get the job done at a certain acceptable level. They are merely plug-ins as our kids develop, same with Smokes. Their place on this team is very temporary. Who knows they may even surprise us. It's really not that complicated.
  8. I don't think Halak's market value was huge to begin with. Maybe only to us. I believe Gainey's focus will be on getting Huet's value up and trading him this year. Your trade idea is great but convince Wilson, not me. That's the problem. I'm sure GM's have been watching Halak but Gainey won't trade him for nothing. He should just keep him on the farm for now.
  9. Many feel sorry for Halak. DON'T! This is a sure sign to develop Price into a starter and trade Huet by the deadline. We all know Halak can play, Price is our future........so as soon as we trade Huet, Halak will be with the team and let's not even talk about possible injury. Our future one two punch is Price and Halak. Jaraslov "Bunny" Halak!!!!!!!!! Laps......Yup bad atitude I'm sure. Seems like he's being a little "Riberio" on us, too cool for school. OR, maybe he was simply outplayed in his position. He should have dropped the gloves atleast once. No worries, he'll be back. We have all seen him when he's intense. I'm surprised about Grabs. Don't get me wrong, I think he will be a great player, I just didn't really see it happening yet. Maybe Halak, Laps and ? are going to be traded soon. We shall see. I like our team so far , can't wait for Wednesday.
  10. A team should wait as long as it takes when they believe in a player. I took John Leclair in my hockey pools for years. I remember my friends would laugh at me for it. He would always score ten goals in ten pre season games and then go cold in the regular season. Montreal gave up and look what happened. I don't care what line he was on or who he played with. Well according to BTH that just might happen There is no denying Hossa is better then Murray. It's a GM's job to realize potential in a player and along with a coach bring out the best in him. The habs did what they had to do but I feel we got robbed. Time will tell. Now back to my point that started all of this. Halak is a great goalie and we can afford to have him go be great somewhere else .But let's make sure we get the better player in the deal this time. I don't feel that happend in the Hossa deal. Halak has way too much of an upside to only get a Murray type player in return.
  11. You are right about Hossa being a fringe player with the rangers. At the moment. I feel that there is still a lot of room for that kid to get better. I don't think he will be as good as his brother but I think he will be a 30 goal man in this league one day. Murray has already shown us what he's all about. A spare tire . Every team needs a guy like this, he has value. Not at the expense of a Hossa type player though. We could argue this into the ground, not what I want to do. I feel Hossa is the better player in that deal , that's all
  12. Depends who they trade halak for. We all think our team is so loaded with prospects and we're the envy of all NHL teams since the calder cup win. It's all mostly hype that we have created in these forums. I'm not saying we don't have talent but it's not like other GM's are calling Gainey and saying We must have O"byrn or we must have Grabs, or we must have Sergei, at least we are not hearing about it. We are hearing Edmonton and San Jose want Halak. We can afford to trade him without it hurting us. Especially if it brings us back something that truly makes us better right away. Gainey needs to stay strong and demand a great player in return or we will get stung. Like the Garth for Hossa trade. I guess my point is Halak is the hottest thing we have right now because other teams want him. Package him with Ryder and Grabs and make sure we get something back that makes us better right now. We CAN afford to do this .
  13. Did you hear the announcer.....Stands tall... Price will start the season in Montral. You heard it here first Funny shit...... Watch man Price is going to show us now.....oh and grabs is gone
  14. Love the fact that #### sits in front of the net ALL the time......
  15. I'd like to see habs get the lead and then watch,( Price), when the Sens come on in waves trying to tie it.
  16. Bryan Murray talks funny. You guys think some of the Sens imitate him when they're out drinking sometimes? I bet it's friggin funny.
  17. Okay, Sens look pretty stacked. We aren't . It's very sloppy in our own end. I must say there is one thing making me happy though. In the past when we would be down a few goals we had no zip untill the last minute of the game. This young team keeps pushing and trying. Creating chances. Even if we will be a bubble team atleast it will be excitng. Is Price playing the 3rd?
  18. Markov, Kovalev and Koivu are up in the box saying to each other, """""Grrrrrreat, looks like it's all on our backs again this year. "
  19. Man, WTF. We need to bury chances like that. Dandy is looking good tonight.
  20. It doesn't work with some browsers. I had to use fire fox instead of safari
