Gomez may be able to skate it in, but the problem is he tends to give it away over 50% of the time.

I don't think there is a guy in the NHL who gives up the puck as much entering the opposition's zone as much as Gomez does

the only guy who has really showed up is SUbban. The habs are losing all of the battles along the boards, no one is able to get to the front of the net and really letting Buffalo carry the play. I guess this should have been expected after scoring 8 goals.

I was pretty pissed at Vinny's and Boucher's comments in the TB game. As a veteran Vinny lacked discipline and gives PK a two hander and then slams him for faking. PK goes straight to the dressing room and gets attacked for not missing a shift??? Of course no one from the media corrected anyone on that fact when PK was accused of laughing on the bench and not missing a shift Really with all the hate he gets, I don't see any reason other then color being the factor.

I'd rather have him walk away then risk a Taylor Hall type of Injury. He's our best Dman and is already spending too much time in the penalty box (like the rest of the team), we really can't afford to have him off for 5min. Is a Sauer for Subban really a good trade-off??? Why should our top guys get goaded into fighting against scrubs??? Well another Pouliot penalty and another goal. At least this wasn't as brainless as the one's against the lightning.

Why would you want him to fight??? We have enough injuries and a depleted D. I think he was trying to avoid having to fight and only jumped in because White came in and PK knew White would have gotten an instigator penalty. I don't even know why Moen fell into the Rangers game plan by getting into a fight 1 Sec into the game - I thought staged fighting was supposed to be eliminated!!

Yep -he takes more dumb penalties then anyone else. The only one worse for these kind of penalties was Gomez and he hasn't taken anything dumb like this for a while. It really sucks when being understaffed the team battles and gets the lead and could lose the two points by just a bonehead play

Damn Vinny How many injuries are we going to have. To me that one's on the refs. Why the hell wouldn't they make a call 40 seconds earlier???? No, as usual, they swallow their whistle until things start getting out of hand.

What pisses me off about the CBC, is that there is ABSOLUTELY NO discussion on past history regarding possible intent to give context to the hit. I loved comparing the hit to taking a shot to the head. Well, i guess i was right to ask the habs to take a friggin slap shot to Chara and Lucic's head - nothing wrong with that!! I guess that should be our game plan for March 24 - take slap shot at Lucic's and Chara's head - why not that is an acceptable hockey play!!

I'm not surprised that was the same comparision that the idiot calgary announcers were using. The habs hater Peter Maher said the MaxPac hit was a hockey hit and brought up that Daymond Lankow got hit with a puck and that was also unfortuante, but is a hockey hit. I can't belive that friggin loser got inducted in the hockey hall of fame.

Yep, didn't get the missed too many men call either. I also don't get why Subban isn't out when the Pleks line is out. I'd really like to see him out more with the number line. I know Martin is trying to match the D pairings based on the oppositions lineup, but I'd rather be aggressive and and make it harder for the opposition to defend against our top guys. Man, Cammy's timing is really off. Everyone complains about Ak46, but Cammy really lacks the finish we saw last year.

I think its great he is becoming a better defensive Dman and is doing a great job on the PK, but I don't like him not being on the first PP unit. It doesn't make any sense not to have our most offensively creative dman not out there on the first PP unit.
