Tied at 6's headed to the 9th. What a ball game. Huge 2 run bomb by Davis in the 8th. Gonna be a great finish. The rain is starting to come down now as well

Ya game 7's like these are quite entertaining. You throw all your team at them to get the job done since you don't have to think of the next game. Hoping for a close game throughout. A walk off would be pretty crazy for a world series but if that's the case that means Cleveland is winning so I don't want that. I'll be cheering on the Cubs but my prediction is Cleveland takes it unfortunately.

The "re-waiver clock" your referring to is the 30 days on an NHL roster after clearing right? Ya it's an interesting decision on who they decide to bring up. From the Habs perspective it almost has to be Barberio since he is most adequate at filling in on an NHL roster. With Redmond being out for still quite a few more weeks they need a capable 7th defenceman. I personally want it to be Hanley as well but I just see it being Barberio based on Montreal's needs.

Sad news out of Ottawa today as we learned the reason for Craig Anderson's leave from the team. His wife Nicholle has been diagnosed with cancer. Thoughts are with her and hoping for a full recovery. With Hammond's injury, Anderson will return to the team under the encouragement of his wife.

Interesting to see how these new lines do in a full game together. Radulov - Galchenyuk - Gallagher - Radulov and Galchenyuk are extremely creative and should put together some nice plays. You also have the determination of Gallagher to go to the net and finish off some of those plays. Pacioretty - Desharnais - Shaw - Pacioretty is back with his boy. Still would like to see Desharnais on the third line but guess they needed to shake things up a bit to get Pacioretty going. It's worked in the past. We'll see how Shaw does with a little bit more talent to play with. Lehkonen - Plekanec - Byron - Plekanec's just needs a little puck luck to go his way and he'll be back on track. Unfortunate for Lehkonen to drop down a line but he's been a bit quieter since the start of the season. Still young and learning the game. Danault - Mitchell - Flynn - Been a great 4th line so far this season so no need to change a thing. Anyways Go Habs Go. Excited for this game tonight.

Missed most of tonight game but was able to see a bit of it from the bar. Dont really know how well they played but great to see both Patches and Chucky get goals. The Habs need these guys to both have great seasons to be elite. A true test against one of the top teams in the East. Big win. Bring on the Leafs

Man Price is slacking. Goalie controversy???? No but great to see Montoya doing well and it feels great to have someone you can trust to spell Price every so often. Big Goal by Weber. His start to the season has been terrific. About the best case scenario for him coming into Montreal with all the controversy.

Is there any reason behind this strategy? The got Berube on waivers originally so they can't really fear losing him since he's not that highly touted. Maybe cause they want to give Halak rest throughout the season cause of his injury history? Paul Byron gets his second of the season to put the Habs up 1-0!

Haha thanks much appreciated. Brian still has me beat by a mile though as he writes his game threads in HTML code and has a bit more info. Mine are much more low tech. The template for these GDT's I just created in MS Publisher where I make the changes and whatnot, then save it as an image, and then upload to an image hosting website.

Nice to see Radulov get rewarded with the empty netter tonight as he had a hand in all the Habs goals. 3 point game isn't too shabby. The points are starting to come but the penalty minutes also continue. He really needs to get those down as you wouldn't of ever thought he would be the guy leading the team in that category. Continuing this will be a sentence to the coaches doghouse. Price came up with a few key saves that kept us in a tie or in the lead late in the game. This start is very reminiscent of last year's but hoping they have learned from it and that Price will continue to stay healthy.

Very unfortunate that it is with him. You would think that now is the time to let the leash out a bit seeing that Weber is available to mentor him. If I'm thinking of Beaulieu's development strictly those two are tied to the hip. Not pairing Weber with someone who the Habs have been trying to unload in the past even though he's had a good start to the year.

So how did they look in the first period? I missed it cause the NHL app for game-center is down and is not allowing me to stream to my chomecast. So frustrating. Always problems with that app. There must be more to the Beaulieu demotion. I don't think his play has warranted it so maybe something off ice?
