Frusterating loss. I knew that when Cullen scored that last goal, it was all but over. I didn't think we had it in us to tie it again. Higgins had a rough start, but rebounded nicely. Ryder played another brutal game, he couldn't clear the zone if he was the only one on the ice. Impressed once again with Lapierre, and Grabs impressed me as well. Kovalev....man....he is a magician with the puck but holy crap how many give aways does he have to make? not to mention he is useless without the puck and gives up on the play when he loses possesion of it. Overall I still like him, he helps this team alot, but HE IS SO FRUSTRATING TO WATCH SOMETIMES. Please score tommorow Kovy and work hard and prove me wrong.

i don't...all i heard from my friends last year was how much better he was than all of montreal's young players..although i have nothing against the guy, because of the leafs fans i dont want him to do well. haha just saw the replay of the kovalev goal that was called back, kolzig didnt put up an argument at all and he didnt know it was called back he just lied in his crease...if that stick of koivu's really affected him he wouldve jumped right up and went after the refs. my god it wouldve been a different game if it were 2-2.

WOW....First thing that I said to myself at the beginning of the game was "man, the boys are playing great tonight". Things quickly changed... And after the replay on Koivu's "interference"....I couldn't really see what was the big deal...Kolzig was diving across the net, I seriously don't think Koivu's stick had a big efffect on that play. Stupid call, and what do they do? turn around and score.

I agree that a trade could help this team, but seriously, because a trade on nhl 06 brought the team overall up 6 or 8 has absolutely nothing to do with real life...as you kinda said...and Vancouver would never do that trade anyways, just giving you a heads up, trade ideas like that can really rattle people on hockey forums lol But picking up a guy like Shane Doan or Pavel Datsyuk i think will help this team, anyone else agree?
