He's back out there. Was likely just winded.

Hope Patch is not hurt.
-
How did Danault manage to shoot that right into his pads.
-
LMAO at Radulov jumping into Pacioretty's arms.
-
I'm seeing a team that makes mediocre NHL goalies look like all-stars.
-
That was a stupid play. There was another stupid play in the first 5 minutes though... WEber and Markov allowed Jamie Benn, of all people, to walk right up the middle and go for a breakaway. The team played well in the last 15 minutes of the period, but were not ready to play in the first five minutes.

Its like 4 NHLers in 6 years. (McCarron makes it 5, but is still a disppointing pick.... Hudon and De la Rose could make it 7 but I don't have much hope beyond them. Reway seems a long shot due to health) 2014, 15, and 16 are too early to judge That said 4 in 5 years is below average. 7 in 5 years is pretty close to average but a little below... Trading all those picks in 2008, 09, 10, 11, 12 hurt the depth in the organization. We traded a 1st, and a shit load of 2nds/3rds.
-
He's shooting 29% since the trade. This smells exactly like Devante Smith Pelly last year. Everyone freaking out after the trade, due to an unsustainable hot streak, and then not a peep afterwards. What is DSP doing now? Nothing.
-
The Habs have made Zach Fucale an emergency recall (Probably easier to get a last minute Toronto to Montreal flight than one from St. John's ).
-
He's also got a decent shot, but absolutely no hands, and so he rarely gets an opportunity to get it off.
-
And just like that, Ott is in for McCarron. Also sounds like the plan was to start Montoya, but he got hurt in practice so back to Price.
-
I'm glad that the kid we drafted in the first round is able to push steve ott (who we traded a 6th rounder to get) out of the lineup.
-
2 goals, 5 assists in 48 NHL games. Yup, he's trending to be that fourth line centre that all teams hope to draft in the first round.
-
Exactly You can take an undersized guy with lots of skills or you can take another connor crisp, a big guy with limited skill, by the time you get to that round.
-
I've already given 6.... here's a 7th, Brian Campbell, and an 8th, Brian Rafalski, and a 9th, Phil Housley, and an 10th Francois Bouillion, and an 11th, Tobias Enstrom. Should we keep going?

Funny that was what Trizzak said too.

Biggest difference is in the penalty kill.... Julien's team is much better. Smaller differences, Julien's team is showing a drastic reduction in high quality scoring chances at 5v5 as well. Far less shots from the slot. Julien's team is showing an increase in possession overall. Also a small increase of shots from close to the net, but not an increase in goals, at least not yet. This is likely due to a small sample size. Julien's team is showing a worse powerplay (though Therrien's team had a powerplay that was declining from where it was early in the season, so this might just be a continuation of a trend that started under Therrien). Still it would be nice to turn this issue around.

Torey Krug, Sami Vaatanen, Ryan Ellis, Tyson Barrie, Tyler Spurgeon, Ryan Murphy

Thats it, insulting hamilton, no loving for you.

I'm a big believer in possession. But I'm also a big believer that if you are the first line, you can have all the possession in the world, but it don't mean a thing if you don't score goals. Possession is great on the third and fourth lines when you want them to play some defence, but I'll take Galchenyuk's possession (which is still a net positive by the way) and points, over Danault's slightly higher possession but the team not scoring. The difference in possession in no way makes up for the difference in scoring chances (Chucky produces more), quality shots (Chucky has more), expected goals for (Chucky has more) and Actual goals for (Chucky has more).

A scouting Report is included. http://lastwordonhockeyprospects.com/2017/03/27/victor-mete-signs-entry-level-contract-montreal-canadiens/

Maybe it wasn't that Hamilton is a bad city, maybe its just that Nygren is a shitty person.
-
Windsor is a very big team for an ohl squad, especially at forward. Brown, Villiardi, Knott etc .... the fact that Mete is controlling them so well is a good sign for him. Mete and sergachev were two best d on the ice yesterday
-
Chuck also scores more on a ppg basis at centre
