  1. that's cause you don't know NWA (old school rocks ) "took off her clothes and said her name was Dianna her chest was bigger than the state of IndianNa" (the rhyme man, the rhyme) this song is a gem... you don't have to enjoy music, actually, you have to NOT enjoy music lol it's some old beat, with rhymes and insanities... that's just funny. http://www.lyricsondemand.com/n/nwalyrics/...easylyrics.html INS stands for? no kidding? cause english accent on a girl picks... me at least i've got my common law graduate diploma, which could help me to pass some exams. Anyways, it's worth the effort, not necessarily to go to Indiana, but to go to almost anywhere in the states... cause Lawyers are really really really better off in the states, that's not even funny.
  2. sorry for the consistent 10 days delay to reply lol good ones about indiana. it's funny how there is that whole "university spirit and identity almost everwhere in the states... Nothing like that here. I went to Université de Montréal and couldn't wait to get the heck out of there... It was quite depressing. Actually, I don't know what's stopping me to come down to Indianna... Beside having no green card, having a strong french accent, not being a member of the indianna bar, besides the fact that indianna has no Hockey team besides the fact I know nothing about basketball and I don't care so, really, nothing stops me... if only i knew where it is...
  3. Dan, I'm sure they miss your insight over there... Since you're gone, there is not much quality articles regarding the habs... :nono: This "ranking" is totally foolish... They put Plek as a "prospect" (and perez... although it's debatable) and they forgot to mention the almighty Latendresse, as well as Lapierre.
  4. Never forget that the Fans know everything. They are the guardian or the ultimate truth. here is what Joe Fan thinks of Bob Gainey's moves: -Ivanans is in AHL not because he's not good, but because BG knows nothing about toughness in hockey. -Ribs is benched because BG is jealous of his awesome talent. -Lacroix totally lured BG in that "2nd Roy trade" (goes along with the "Theodore is a god" line and with the "Theodore is underpaid" line) ... etc The most recents: -Murray has not talent and brings nothing to the team (woah... for sure... what are you? a Czerkawski lover? Murray doesn't have a lot of talent, but everything he lacks in talent, he OVERcompensate with GRIT, GRIT, work ethic, doing the little things and GRIT and speed.) -BG knows nothing, he benches one of the best guy on this team, Bulis, for NO reason (good one too but think what the No reason could be... could it be that Bulis coughs the puck more than someone affected by tuberculosis? could it be that Bulis, although giving the occasional hit, is totally scared of receiving the hit along the board, of paying the price along the board and that such soft plays led to goals in his last 2-3 games? Could it be that BG is trying to pass a message there?) The guy behind the bench never does anything without a reason, no matter what he does, he doesn't do that in order to lose the game, he does that to improve the Team, sometimes it has an immediate impact, sometimes it takes longer (like gradually giving Komi icetime... instead of throwing him too fast in the hot waters... it really helped him develop at his pace and gain confidence)
  5. Vokoun's first game with the Habs was abyssimal Garon's first 10 games or so were TERRIBLE Some of Theo's first games were nightmarish... GIVE THE GUY A CHANCE 3 games don't make or break a career.
  6. woah, Indiana, that's one of the 40 states that I don't know about. The only thing I know about it is that it's a red property in Monopoly I went to U of Montreal. Then got my common law at U of Sherbrooke. I hate Quebec's law system, way too systematic. Common Law rocks.
  7. And it's false that they thought that he didn't have what it takes. They just thought that they had already many small centers (koivu, plek, etc) and wanted to have him as a winger right now.
  8. lol... ok I know that this post is old as the earth, but you're in Law? where?! and how did you do at that exam
  9. Aebischer is a #1 goalie, no doubt about that, he has been a bit shaky at times... but WAY LESS than Theo and IMO, less often than Theo. Theo can potentially be better when he's on his game... but "potentially" and "when he's on his game" only... not consistently. The only consistency he has shown, is that he is inconsistent. I always liked him... but now that he's gone, I won't mourn him. It's only good for the team to know that "soft shots" won't get in because of a brain cramp. On the other hand, it's depressing for the team to see the score being evened out by a blunder from the goalie... if it happens once per game... it's a good way to develop a losing streak. oh, and btw, Huet is surprisingly proving that he is a starter too.
  10. as good as the Briser move. 4 additional Milion $ to spend. Make your lists gentlemen
  11. Not only to prepare them, but to WIN! Imagine Russia without Markov, Ovechkin and Malkin well that was Canada without Staal, Phaneuf and Spezza/Crosby. STUPID Gretzky STUPID
  12. All Hail to Saku Koivu, best centerman of the Tournament! Hail Saku! :king:
  13. I'm not saying that because they are having olympic successes... I'm saying that because Markov has Kovalev, Plek, Bulis and Zed are another language clique. Koivu has no one from his nationality AND anyways, Finns usually kick asses... so it's a two in one acquisition
  14. Buturlin... honestly, who cares... he seemed to have unlimited talent in 99, but we've seen since then that his talent is limited. Good skater, good in the two ends of the rink... but limited skills IMO. We have absolutly no room for him. unless he proves me wrong
  15. My only untouchables are Markov and Koivu along with Kids like Latendresse, Chipchura, Kosty, Price and Komi (who has the Leclair syndrome, give me lots of icetime with the right guy, and I'll be the best... let it happen with us this time!!) I like Plek, Perez, Bulis, Rivet, Souray, Cube, Kovalev, Ryder but I could trade any in the RIGHT DEAL (not any meaningless swap, e.g. Bulis for a Solid Dman) I wouldn't mind trading Zed, Dandy, Bonky (although if you guys have your eyes opened, you've noticed that he's stepped up his game since his return from injury... still overpaid though), Theo, etc I just wanna see him gone : Ribs
  16. yeah, that's what I wanted to illustrate with the McAmmond example.
  17. Dean McAmmond 11-Mar-03: Colorado Avalanche traded Dean McAmmond to the Calgary Flames for a 5th round selection (Mark McCutcheon) in 2003. deadline deal 01-Oct-02: Calgary Flames traded Derek Morris, Jeff Shantz and Dean McAmmond to the Colorado Avalanche for Chris Drury and Stephane Yelle. 2003-04 Calgary NHL 64 games 2002-03 Colorado NHL 41 games wasn't allowed to play for CGY after he was traded 2001-02 Calgary NHL 73 games So maybe that "crosby fantasy" would be illegal too.
  18. Habs start practicing tomorrow I think...
  19. Repulsive because of his UFA status, his multiple and weird injuries this season and because of his humongous contract. HOWEVER, I agree that he's an awesome player... and NO! Bert is not in any way repulsive compared to Tkatchuk... just go read the list of injuries he's had this season How about Brewer and Jackman? Of course!! How about Ovechkin too, or Crosby, or Phaneuf... everyone can be had... St-Louis is rebuilding and these guys are at the core of the rebuilding process. They are the wall to put in front of Schwartz and the guys who will feed the puck to Kessel or Toews.
  20. I won't jump, but here are two facts: 1) Brewer will not move, he is Pronger's legacy 2) Tkachuk is totally repulsive. Yes he's a PF, but he's not healthy this season and earns 9M
  21. With Captain Finland on the habs, I'm surprised that we didn't went out to get some marquee Finn players. They almost all have the greatest hard working attitude, and a hard nosed two way style of play, contrarily to some other countries (no racism / nationalism intended). Our only lame attempts were under Houle with Lind and Whitehall... I know that Dallas is starting to pile 'em up, Chicago seems to have followed the trend... Should we go get some too (before there are none left) or we should just go after any player, no matter where he's from? (keep in mind that it'd have to fill a hole in our lineup) e.g. Hamrlik vs Niinima Lehtinen vs (well no one is similar to Lehtinen ) Selanne vs Kariya... It's a "fantasy" question, since there are not many Finns on the trade market... The worst answer you can give me is hat So and So is not for trade... The reworded question would be : at equal talent, should we go with a Finn next time? just to do a "surprise" to Saku...
  22. What you don't get is that, if TBay ever trade Richards, it's for Cap reasons. so why would they even consider trading for Theo??? Richards will surely earn less than Theo.
  23. The comments about old slow not scoring anymore, etc... would have applied when we signed Gilmour... IMO, he's worth a shot. If we can have him only for the remaining of the season (plus an option?) for around 1M$, I say go ahead and Trade Zednik and Ribeiro (even if we don't get nolan, trade ribs)
  24. In two separate RDS article: -BG said Zed wanted to talk to him, likely about what each other tought Zed could bring to the team and how BG is to use Zed (BG said something like Zed will have to walk his way) -Zed AND Perez are playing tonight, Zed with Bulis and Sunny, Perez with Plek and Ryder (Ribs again on the 4th and higgs on the 1st)
