Komi is seriously the worst shot in the NHL.

Do the players understand that not everyone makes the playoffs? That you actually have to win games to get in? Time to call up some kids, sit some vets. They're coasting out there, may as well get the kids some game experience.

They need to shoot every chance they get just shoot, they are doing more harm trying to dangle, getting stripped and causing 3 on 2 and 2 on 1's the other way.

Well the fluff goal was Halak, the other goal he had very little chance on. The biggest thing this team is missing is shooting. They constantly look for the best shot, someday they will realize that you don't get more pts if its a pretty goal compared to an ugly one. Throw it on the net, crash the net, the habs always make one too many passes.

Watching the leafs get the puck out of their own end, the defense makes a 5 foot pass to the forward whos back in the defensive zone, compared to Montreals defense who has to make a what 30 foot pass to the forwards who are on the leafs side of centre? I understood the conversation quite well, the general tone was, all this was on Price. I defended him, and I said if Halak proved me wrong, I'd admit Price was the problem.

Lots of people the after thursdays game was saying, that once Halak in net things would be different. Here we are down 2-0 after the first period, same old Habs, different goalie. Halak looked shakey on everything tonight, he's lucky it's not 3-0 on two weak goals.

Is everyone ready to admit that everything wasn't Price fault yet? That the problems on this team is not as simple as the goalie?

Forecheck is what I notice a lot of teams do to have success against the habs, and when we do press and forecheck we have success ourselves. I can't believe they're not doing it more.

Losing is one thing, losing without seeming to care that you're losing is another. I thought after the tirade in the penalty box, tuesday night Komi would play with more fire. They have no marbles, to quote a movie, no one protects the goalies, except the Lats/Laps/Kost line. Heatly stood up last night for Elliot, there has to be some game plan we're not privy to. Something like "don't protect our goalies" or some shit, nothing else makes sense. There also to has to be some defenseman plan like "you guys are too slow, so don't press forward at our blue line, and let them come in and shoot on net, hopefully our goalies can handle lots of shots."

Higgins was good in the third period, I dunno what happened to him, but he should share it with the rest of the team, did you see him lay out that Sens player?

I can't argue with the stats, personally I want a winner, Price to me seems more like a winner. I hear you with respecting someone who has to work their way up through the ranks, my favourite player for a while was Ryder. I hope Halak does well, I'm just not expecting anything from either goalie til the REAL problems are worked out.

You brought up that Halak had proven himself 'at every level', I'm merely saying that Price has done more at every level than Halak. Whatever this argument is getting stale. You all think I'm foolish for having faith in Price, I feel the same way with you and Halak. Oh the sig was from last year Fan, I just never got around to changing it, I really didn't notice it til you just brought it up haha.

So Price hasn't proved anything for being dominant...but Halak can be? You can't have it both ways.

There's plenty of Habs who are getting rewarded for bad play.

I think Halak will falter, I hope he doesn't, but he hasn't proven anything either, he's had a good little 5-6 games, but if Price hasn't proved anything, then Halak has proved less.

There's not much more to say really, we all have our opinions, I think the problems lie otherwheres then the goalie position.

What if the solution is to keep playing him over and over, having confidence in him?

Goalie stealing wins is a band-aid, you're not fixing it, you're stopping the bleeding. Does making the playoffs mean much if you go out in four? Why not try to find out whats causing the bleed.

When Halak struggles in the next five games can I get personal apology from all those who seem to blame ALL the troubles of the Habs on Price? If Halak plays and the habs play good the rest of the season I will man up and apologize to everyone.

Haha, the funny thing, the attitude here is, when Halak is in the net the Habs are a 120 pt team, and it's all Price fault the defense give up the zone easy, there's no forecheck and the PP can't get a shot on goal.

The team gives up too easily, it's spread to the entire group. You can't say that's exclusively on Price.
