Price was good except for the shootout, he was hung out to dry tons of times tonight and saved the habs bacon, a lot of you seem to have impossible standards.

A brutal softie that was ONCE again tipped by a defenseman stick...which happens all the time. This team needs to let the shots go to price, or if they're gonna stick their stick in front of the puck make sure they stop it.

The habs fans for all their boasting of 'how great we are', are pretty fickle and terrible. I say good riddance to all you band wagon jumpers, don't hurt yourself jumping off.

I think it has tons more to do with the fact the defence can't get the puck out of their own zone. That first pass was made last year, up the side, second pass and we were in the other teams zone and motoring towards their net. This year, it's defence gets the puck, looks up the ice...see's all the forwards past the red line, passes back to defense partner, or makes a errant long pass which rarely connects. When the puck is passed to the other defenceman, that gives tons of time for the other teams forecheckers to get up on the D and they rush the puck, give it away.

Well to be fair Metropolit, is a 4th liner, Ryder was top 2, unfair to really compare them.

The D panic in their own zone. Forwards too lazy to come back to get the pass from the D. Other teams realize if they pressure the habs D, they will rush passes and cough up the puck.

Is this the same team as last year? I mean we all bitched last year..."yeah the habs can score, but I wish it was at 5 on 5", they do that at the cost of a great PP. I'm wishing for the firewagon hockey of last year compared to the product we see this year.

The fans shouldn't boo, not because it's not warrented, it's because the players don't care, they don't show it on the ice, they may have tons of skill, but they never show heart. I don't know what happened between this year and previous years, what rifts have been caused in the dressing room, but players are playing for the paycheck, not for the CH on their chest.

Plex might create some chances, Akost not so much.

O'Bryne, at least shows emotion, sticks up for his team mates, Komi is a useless pylon out there, whos shot cannot even get near the net. All of Montreal's D panic soooo much with the puck, if they took a fraction of a second longer to set their feet and get the puck out, none of pressure in the D zone would happen.

I think AKost should join Komi in the press box, he is useless out there, I know that can be said for a lot of the team.

It's time for Komi to sit in the press box and eat some humble pie.

Why is Komi so timid, it looks like he's scared to take a hit to make a pass, I know it's easy for us to say this, but not many of the Habs D look like they are willing to sacrifice the body to make a pass.

They gotta stop taking so many first period penalties, they look soooo dead out there.
