Loving Gallagher. He was our best forward in the play off last year. And although Max is the best pure scorer on the team. Gallagher is the the best hockey player of all the forwards. Fifth round pick.

Eller is playing like Eller. At 3.5 a year the Habs get a big, physical third (sometimes second) liner, penalty killer, play center or wing, take a hit to make a play, pot you 15 even strength goals a year. Sometimes he will leave you wondering whats wrong with him yes, other times he will surprise you with a whale of a game or a great play off series. As was already stated, what he would bring in a trade would net the habs less than what they are getting from him. Another fact about Lars, not a forward on the Canadiens (including Max) has had a play off as stellar as the one Larry gave us in 014. Yes he leaves you wanting more, but come play off time (when it matters most) what current Hab forward has not.

Yes but as you can see I only resorted to those examples to counter the bashing Weiss was taking on here. It is ok if i stick up for Weiss the way the Pleks and DD fan club stick up for them is it not. He is a Montreal Canadien after all. Where the are the cautions for the bashing he takes. Well we could pick bottom feeders from the east too ....leafs, sabres, jackets, devils, panthers, hurricanes, all dynasties in the making eh. West has won 5 of last 6 cups.

No just the game winner for the Oilers. He was slow, soft and non defending on the play. Which is what you keep saying about Semin. Atleast we know Semin is here on a trial basis for chump change. DD is a star. ha! But looked like a smaller version of Semin when the game was on the line in Edmonton.

We can pick guys on every goal. Pleks was out to lunch just watching, but not checking Mcdavid while he set up second Oiler goal. DD's is unforgivable. One because it was an easy play that he just quit on. Two , it was with a minute to go. Your right on Emelin too. PK, Markov and Byron were all weak/dumb on the third oiler goal. A collective collapse shall we say. but capable of stinking is what we witnessed ditto
