After losing on Friday night in a game I didn't have time to make a GDT for, Laval and Toronto are back at it for the fourth game of this five-game set. Playoffs are set, North Division playoffs begin next Wednesday with either Montreal @ Toronto or Winnipeg @ Edmonton. As for today's game, I'll update lines as they become available. In every sense standing wise, this is a meaningless game for both teams.

"Let the big dog eat!" Final road trip of the regular season begins, and this is the last chance the Habs' will have to feast on a weaker team. A win here either vaults the team into 3rd or keeps pace with the Jets and drops the Flames out of the playoff race. Lineups changed at practice signaling a potential return from one of the injured forwards. More info to come...

Hope to see a better performance!

"Welcome to the big show! Now... it's gonna take a lot of work. It's gonna take a lot of sweat. But eventually I am gonna mold you into one of the greatest 12 year olds to ever play this game! Now... ack... ack... kyeh... kyeh.. aeeeeh.... suit up... I'll see you out there..." So how about that Cole Caufield goal, huh? Yes please, and may I have another? Looks like the same lines as last game but with Allen getting the start.

"Look at this cake for example! Now I wrap it up in my vomit bag, I take it back to the hotel, put it on ice, and in the morning... voila! Breakfast! Conservation, Henry. Managing resources. That is the key!" Injury trouble and very few days off from now til the 12th will test the Habs down the stretch. We'll see if Kulak, Primeau, and another forward draw in to give more Habs the rest they seem to need right now. Lineup TBD.
-
"The three R's: readiness, recuperation, and conditioning! You see, after the game, a lot of guys like to ice up their arm. Still, other fellas think that heat is the way to go. But I, have discovered the secret, Henry... hot ice! I heat up... the ice cubes! It's the best of both worlds!" Might be reaching the bottom of the barrel for coaching advice... Lines at practice were: Kotkaniemi - Danault - Anderson Toffoli - Suzuki - Armia Lehkonen - Evans - Caufield Frolik - Staal - Perry Edmundson - Petry Chiarot - Romanov Gustafsson - Merrill Allen

Going simple again for the GDT as the last one worked. I’ll add more later. If my understanding of seeding is right, Habs need 5 points in 10 games to clinch a playoff spot mathematically as of right now.
-
Throwing this together quick as we need a GDT. This is an important game as a loss here puts Calgary within 2-3 point of the Habs in the last playoff spot. This game will almost tell the tale of how this season will end. Hanifin out for Calgary for the season. Could someone post the lineups for tonight? Won’t have a chance to, as I won’t even be home until the end of the first period.
