Why would Gainey ever try to re-sign Souray before Higgins, why can he wait before signing Higgins? Fanpuck33 Posted May 31, 2007 Share Posted May 31, 2007 As long as RFAs are given a qualifying offer (I think 110 or 105 percent of their current salary), the team has their rights for the next season, meaning they have all summer to sign them and still have them show up for camp.
