Not that we haven't heard it before, but once again the folks at Can't Broadcast Canadiens are promising to increase their coverage of the team, next season. And once again, we'll believe it if we see it, not when. Most of us outside la Belle Province were once again subjected to Leafs telecasts every week, save for a couple of matinees, up until the Leafs were pretty much long shots to make the playoffs. It's very interesting to see the number of respondants who expressed their displeasure at the lack of coverage for this season especially, and over the last few years. A lot of people here have voiced the same feelings on the board and to the CBC, but were undoubtedly brushed off with the usual argument, "But the Leafs get ratings." Maybe this is the opportunity to show the brass that the successful teams get ratings, not just the ones down the road from the office. Habsfan Posted April 21, 2008 Share Posted April 21, 2008 The last two games the Habs averaged 1.75 million viewers and had peaks at over 2.4 million viewers...and that is on RDS ONLY!
