TheAussiePosse
R.I.P, Ivan. I'll never forget two things about him: 1.) Coaching the Pens with the massive Czech contingent to the Conference Finals 2.)The Marc Bergevein incidents (This was where he told security guards at visiting rinks that he was being followed by a "Crazy Czech guy", and to please make sure he doesn't get anywhere near their room. Security Guy: "Sir, you've got to go" Ivan Hlinka: "Whaaaaaaat!?" Security Guy: "Let's go, let's go" Ivan Hlinka: "No, I coach!" Security Guy: "No, you gotta go" etc. Or where the coach was trying to have a pep talk in game 6 of the Semifinals, where the Pens are facing elimination in game 6. Enter Bergevin earing spandex, covered in heat packs, and wearing tape rolls on the bottom of his feet similar to elevator shoes) for the little things that Ivan did right... Doktor Kosmos
R.I.P. Ivan. It's a sad day for the hockey world. First Herb Brooks and Dan Snyder, and now Hlinka.
