puck7x
3rd game in a row on SNET. Its great being able to watch so many Dogs games on tv, although tonight I will also be focused on the Canada/Finland exhibition game (WJHC) . Go Dogs/Canada

puck7x
The line of Plekanec, Kostitsyn and Ward is getting alot of icetime in the 3rd. Good strategy, our best players should play the most minutes
puck7x
Wow, the refs managed to screw up another AHL game, they give Edmonton a 5 on 3 by calling a penalty on Plekanec AFTER they originally called a Roadrunner for the penalty, but then decided the Dogs deserved it (they did) ... And they blew the whistle when Edmonton had possesion. The AHL is a minor-pro league with peewee officials. Edmonton just scores, 2-2 now... Edmonton still on the PP [Edited on 2004-12-21 by puck7x]
puck7x
Roadrunners win the game in a shootout. The dogs couldnt score one goal in the shootout, the Roadrunners got 2 past Danis. I hate AHL refs so much.
beckham
AHL hockey looks absolutely crappy alongside junior hockey. None of the past half dozen AHL games I've watched was as good as the worst of the past dozen junior and international games I've watched. Reminds me of why I DON'T miss the NHL at all. Ron Hainsey still looks like the best all round player in Hamilton to me. I don't understand why people are so down on him. Chris Higgins is the only other player who seems like he could step into the NHL if it was up and running. Also, Yann Danis has all the charisma of a Hereford in a feild. I can't beleive the guy managed to get a degree from an Ivy League school.
