dlbalr
and now it's time to head on down to the Dog Pound for this afternoon's game. Enjoy the game everybody!! Hope you enjoy this Robert Mayer sighting, the good ones are too few and far between... 1-1 in the 2nd, Dawes yet again with the goal. From Derek on Twitter, an interesting tidbit: Ironically, the only two players in the AHL to score in 7-straight games this season are Winnipeg natives, current Hamilton teammates and former Calgary teammates Dustin Boyd and Nigel Dawes...and Boyd got the first assist on Dawes goal! Strange, but true! It seems as if the two are playing together today, something that didn't happen the first two games.
dlbalr
Hope you enjoy this Robert Mayer sighting, the good ones are too few and far between... Hate it when I'm right like this. Mayer coughs up 4 straight in the 2nd, now 4-1 Grand Rapids early 3rd. I'm jumping on the draft a goalie bandwagon right about now.
dlbalr
Palushaj got it to 4-2 but the Griffs got an empty netter, 5-2 final. http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1008225
