dlbalr
Fresh off a loss and another player gone (Dumont to suspension), a theme we've seen far too often lately, the Bulldogs (35-24-7) travel to Rochester (30-31-6) to take on the team that just beat them last game, a 6-5 shootout that saw the rare occurrence of Robert Mayer actually playing somewhat well. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Wyman/Boyd (15) Assists: Brendon Nash (22) Points: J.T. Wyman (31) PIMS: Jimmy Bonneau (157) +/-: 3 tied at (+15) Active scoring leaders: Goals: McArdle/Kostka (13) Assists: Mike Kostka (35) Points: Mike Kostka (48) PIMS: Eric Selleck (191) +/-: A.J. Jenks (+5) Puck drop is at 7:05 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
BlueKross
Better hope Russel and Boyd are back in line-up, with Dumont gone to suspension and Pulushja and Dawes recalled. How many healthy bodies do they have?

How many healthy bodies do they have? If those 2 can't go, they'd be dressing 9 forwards and 7 D. I'm curious as to whether they can use PTO's now or not. If not, they better get in on the NCAA free agents now.

dlbalr
This is not good..... Should we be hoping someone was scouting the STH's at the annual skate? With no forwards left to call up, you never know who could be the next Bulldog... Reading Engqvist may not be available tonight either, this is going to be ugly. dlbalr
Some good news, Boyd is back for this one. Other injury notes: Russell is DTD, as is St. Denis. 17 skaters dressed (including Bisaillon), 10 forwards, 7 D.
dlbalr
Scoreless midway through the 2nd. Fortunately, the Amerks are a little depleted as well, it's been some kind of snoozer to say the least.
dlbalr
Scoreless after 2. I think the crowd fell asleep late in the frame.
dlbalr
The highlight of the 3rd period: The PBP voice (Derek) encouraging the colour guy (Al) to go do something that will make a goal be scored.
dlbalr
Conboy scores on the PP...that's not a typo either, 1-0 Hamilton, 5:56 left. Carle and Urquhart (!) the assists...why is Urquhart on the PP?
dlbalr
Avtsin scores...sort of. Gets tripped up on a breakaway with an empty net, 2-0 Hamilton final. They did it, yee haw. http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1008335

The combination of Avtsin, Engqvist and Conboy has had some success before so not a surprise. Sure could use a Tanner House.

The combination of Avtsin, Engqvist and Conboy has had some success before so not a surprise. Sure could use a Tanner House. The 50-contract limit is always in effect. A little known fact, I've been tracking it all season in the CBA thread, 2nd post. As it stands, the Habs are at 50, but have 3 slide candidates, Leblanc, Lefebvre (again), and Avtsin, so there still is room left. At either rate, the Habs have a tendency to sign NCAA guys to future contracts while having them play the remainder of the current season on an AHL ATO (Bishop last season as a recent example). NCAA playoffs end this weekend with the Frozen Four selection shortly thereafter so it won't be long before House and others become available.
