more realistic for him.  For Manitoba, their lines are more or less a

guess based on +/- data from previous games.  I'm sure some of the guys

listed as scratches are injured but it's not as if information is readily

1-1 after 1, Bolduc opened the scoring on a weak wrister, taking advantage of the Bulldogs' general sloppiness to start the game. For the second straight Game 1, my darkhorse scoring candidate has scored for Hamilton, this time it was Ryan Russell. If Russell gets hurt in this game, I think I'll be refraining from answering that question for the next round of the mailbag.

No scoring in the 3rd as the Bulldogs hold on to take it 4-1. The late PP combo of Schultz-Zanette-Bonneau with Petruic-Henry didn't exactly generate much in the way of chances. Still though, banana time, a very impressive win for sure!

Interesting that they think enough of Zanette to let him play center. That is encouraging. Also-- Delmas leads Wheeling into conference final and steals game 1 in overtime. Better sign these two before somebody plucks them.

I'm not sure it has a lot to do with them thinking highly of him but rather that they needed somebody to take that spot since Masse was moved up to the 4th line. Zanette barely played from the sounds of it (about the only time I heard him in the 3rd period was the PP with the 2 goons in the last minute) and with White returning tomorrow, he's the prime candidate to be scratched.

Good news with Wheeling though, I kept forgetting to look myself to see if they survived.
