When a team loses in OT and in shoot outs... that losing team still gets a point. fair... but who get points ... obviously a game winning goal in OT is as usual.. and counts in the player stats... what about in the shoot out...??? jetsniper
Players and Goalies stats alike don't count in the shootout. The only stat that is of concern in the shootout is in the W-L category. I'd hate to be the guy who gets on goal this season and it's in a shootout, you still don't get credit for your goal. Although if you can't score, I doubt the coach would make you a shooter anyway.
