ck5523
I just got from an old friend of mine a miny hockey stick that he got from the old forum back in '76 or '77. It is signed by the team and is in mint condition. I am not sure if it was handed out to the firast so many fans of if he bought it as a souvionor. Anyway it has all the greats on it. Just wondering if it had any money value. I know it has lots of value to me anyway. thanks just let me know.....:hlogo:
Tony_
That's easy, unless he has proof of authenticity it's worth nothing. And by proof I mean pictures of the players signing the stick and showing more than one picture too or having a certificate of authenticity. Habitforming
To take Tony's answer one step further, the signatures on the stick can be authenticated by a professional authentication services. PSA is one of them, but I imagine you could find all kinds of similar businesses with a quick google search. The sevice can be pricey but after you get an official COA [certificate of authenticity] the item can be sold on the secondary market for true value. By the way you seem to admire it, maybe your kids can sell it in 50 years. Nice find though!
johnnyhasbeen
I'll start the bidding at $
alexstream
you can also put it on ebay with a reserve... if you want to sell it at minimum 150$, you put a reserver at 150 and open the bidding.
