GoHabs2002
Top 4 in the east made it, bottom four in the west made it....East must be the favorite now to win it all. And Colorado must be the favorite to make it from the West. Good luck Theo, it would be an amazing story after the year he had

Good luck Theo, it would be an amazing story after the year he had Of course, anybody with a heart not of stone or of bitterness would hope the best for José Théodore. As to the East being the overall favourites, unless another unexpected underdog win takes place, very safe 'bets' would be on the Eastern Conference teams. I expect that either Ottawa or New Jersey (I hope not) or maybe (but not likely) Carolina will be in the finals. These two teams are just too strong for the Western teams to have any hope. :king: :hlogo: :king:
JLP
Yes the East is stronger, but of the four Buffalo will surprise and make it through I have a hunch... Colorado is possible from the West but I'd pick San Jose
CerebusClone
San Jose is probably the best team remaining after Ottawa; since the Thornton trade, they were easily in the top 5 in the league. I think there's a very good chance we'll see these 2 teams in the finals. Don't underestimate Anaheim either. They were very strong in the second half of the season, once young guys like Getzlaf, Perry, Kunitz, and Penner became regulars; that provided them with some great quality depth behind their bigger guns. Not to forget Beauchemin. It must be nive to have large, very skilled guys like Perry, Getlaf, Ryan, and Smid to build around...
kaos
I hope Theodore takes them all the way. Same way as Patrick Roy did. That would be awesome. Go Theodore.
GoHabs2002
It would be awesome for Theo, but not for the Habs... Can you imagine the Press that story would get...UGH!
jetsniper
I think as long as we can avoid San Jose, we have a real good shot at making the finals. Especially with Konowalchuk cleared to play, that will add a lot to the team. Good to see Theo getting some support around here.

If anybody wants a good laugh, go surf through Anaheim's message boards. Example: Bigtimeducksfan: "OOoooooooI hella' love Selanne. Giguere sucks." Giguereismyhomeboy: "I love Giguere shut up." quackquackquack: "He sucks so bad" Rubberduckie: "No he doesn't, he did good years ago!" They're complete idiots. Thank god for Canadian hockey fans. Mont Royale
I'd like to see Theo do well... but based on what I've seen of his play so far, I'm not sold that he'll take them to the finals.

Actually, that sounds a lot like Habs fans: Bigtimehabsfan: "OOoooooooI hella' love Kovalev. Theodore sucks." Theodoreismyhomeboy: "I love Theodore shut up." gohabsgo: "He sucks so bad" Superhabbie: "No he doesn't, he did good years ago!" I'm sure I've read this exact conversation somewhere... :-) Edited May 4, 2006 by CerebusClone

Hahahaha, I know. How about the Stars forums? You'd get banned if you cheered for the Avs, didn't matter if you were really nice and polite, you still got banned. Ridiculous. BTH
Ducks are coming out of the West. I called it before the playoffs and I'm sticking to it!
