Fanpuck33
Actually, Johnny Depp took the character of Jack Sparrow and made it his own in the first movie. He only loosely followed his script and added a lot on his own. After he developed the character in the first movie, the writers knew more what to write, so it left less room for Depp to be creative. Also, I saw it again a couple weeks ago, and it just cemented the fact that it was too long. The scene on the native island was funny, but had nothing to do with the plot and just held up the story for half an hour. Other than that, it was very entertaining, even the 2nd time.
