option+
TSN is reporting that Komisarek left the game late in the third period with an injury. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=182530&hubname= Here's the exact quote: "late in the third period, Montreal defenceman Mike Komisarek left with a sore right shoulder. The team will know more about his condition on Wednesday." Anybody remember seeing him hurt himself. This has pretty much ruined my night, I'm going to have nightmares of Patrick Traverse... JMMR
Patrick Eves hit him behind the Canadiens net he skated right to the bench and went righ to the dressing room. Carbonneau said it was a mino injury, but if it is serious and he has to miss a few games this could be a hige disatser as Traverse would most likley get called up. The Sens have forced 3 canadiens defenseman to leave games early this sesaon.
KoZed
That'd blow... another right side D means another left side D will be switched... we see with Niinimaa that its not a success. It also means that our only natural righty left would be Rivet. Yucky. Didn't Kovalev say he used to play D early in his minor career? If Kovalev did play defense it would not be the first time a skill forward was moved back. I remeber Fedorov and Kapanen both have played defense when thier teammates were injured. shortcat1
Comments on the sports news (RDS TV) this morning continued with the 'it's only minor' theme. We'll see. Go :hlogo: Go!
cfposi
Why does it HAVE to be Traverse...its pretty obvious the guy is as useless as #### on as bull! Why wouldn't they give one of the yound guys a shot? Especially if this potential injury would be a short term thing.
C-Love
I think if Cote is healthy he would get the call up over Traverse, not that we need to worry about it, Komisarek will be allright by Thursday.
