Theres been a trade with LA but Pacioretty and kings couldn't come up with an extension.

Did Pacioretty have an off year yes. Why because of injuries and team play around him. Does that bring down his trade value no, here's why.... The last 5 out of 6 years he has had 30 or more goals scored. That puts him in top 5 of the league over those 5 years. He has done this taking less shots on goal then those in front of him on that list and he has done this playing without a true playmaking center. Give him a playmaking center and let him take more shots he is a 40 plus goal scorer. Thats why his trade value is high, and that's why we are discussing trading him to fill team holes.

Your basically basing Pacioretty trade value on one bad year??? I base Pacioretty trade value on his whole career. When it comes to goal scoring hes in the top 5 of the league for LW.

I think you're under valuing Pacioretty. Columbus is asking the same type of parts as we are for Pacioretty. So a one for one flip is equal.

What about we just flip Pacioretty for Panarin ? And offer Hertl a contract?

I just hope Tavares doesn't pick Toronto. I am from Toronto and dont want to hear this media and fans all summer long.

When I feel really really low and need a good laugh, I check out EK site and it always makes me laugh. Now that Johnson and Haan are on there as habs rumors tells me there not coming to Montreal. Because he never gets anything Montreal right.

Whats everyone's take on Reily Nash? I think he could be a good pick up July 1st. A line of Domi - Nash - Drouin would look good.

Petry was coming from Edmonton. They were losing all the time. He came to Montreal and we were wining of course has going to love it. Ask Petry now how he likes it here. If you look at it what's going on here is what was going on in Edmonton when he left.

Here is what i would do Since its a weak UFA class, we're going to have to either let the young guys play or make trades to fill our biggest holes. As much as I would keep Pacioretty, trading him is our only option to improve. Weber, Price, Gallagher, Shaw , Petry, Alzner aren't going anywhere because we're not rebuilding as much as I think we should be at this point. So here are my thoughts To Florida Pacioretty To habs Trocheck + Bystrom We then sign JvR, Grabner, Raily Nash and Enstrom Have the team look like this JvR - Trocheck - Gallagher Domi - Nash - Drouin Lehkonen - Danault - Grabner Byron - Rose - Shaw Deslauriers, Hudon, Enstrom - Weber Alzner - Petry Mete - Benn/Schlemko Reilly Price Niemi Its a deeper line up then last year with a lot more speed.

I feel bad for Pacioretty, the guy has scored 30+ the last what 5 years. He has one bad year and the media in Montreal and some fans are runing him out of town. Reminds me of what Price went through when Halak was out playing him and everyone wanted Price traded. Then you get traded but doesn't go through because your agent couldn't get a deal. If he is on this team at the start of the season i hope he use's all this as motivation.

If Bergevin is kicking the tiers on Voynov that kind of shows me he is almost desperate. If he's going into July 1st in desperate mode then its scary to think who he's going to over pay for. Being a habs fan in Toronto having to listen to these so called TV analysts and leafs fan laugh at his signings.... Its going to be a long summer.
