In the end, the return for Halak in 2010 was a career AHLer and Lars Eller, a great prospect at the time. Now, in 2024, the return on Harris is a 2nd rounder + a somewhat star NHLer with a massive cap hit and some question marks, but with a lot of potential if he can put it together. It's like going back to square one with that trade, 14 years later.
