  1. Right! He only wants a 2 year contract?! Sign him now. lol
  2. Habs got off to a strong start but Senators are fighting back. Nice PPG goal by Weber. Don Cherry said Crosby isnt a dirty player but conveniently doesn't show the replay of him hitting the opponent in the cup a game earlier. Hypocrite.
  3. If Galley wasn't so busy flapping his lips, they would have had time to show it live.
  4. Oh come on now, he's not *that* slow. I think he's shown improvement since he first started actually, but he'll never compete with Byron. Mind you, he's about 70 pounds heavier than Byron too.
  5. No kidding. I think the 4 seasons he played for the Bruins proved his dislike for the Habs. WHat's surprising is he was born in Montreal. Regardless, there are a lot of former NHL players in the area who can do a much, much better job than Galley! I cannot wait to see him cut loose.
  6. I hope so. Tomorrow the Sens will play their 3rd game in 4 nights, and on the road to boot.
  7. I admit I missed that other play. Sum it all up with two words: Tim Peel :-(
  8. Bad, bad play by Max. Hope it doesn't cost the Habs the extra point.
  9. I'd like to see Danault and Galchenyuk in OT, double shifted.
  10. Finally some breaks going the Habs way!
  11. Better late than never [this notification, that is]. The newest Habsworld podcast is up , where Jonathan Rebelo and I discussed many Habs topics, including the Habs and non-Habs trades leading up to the deadline, review of the first few games under Claude Julien, and much more. As always, feel free to leave us comments or questions about the podcast either here, on iTunes, on Podomatic or via email habsworldpodcast@gmail.com . http://www.habsworld.net/2017/03/habsworld-podcast-episode-53/
  12. Keep in mind that CJ doesn't know anything about Hudon, and is still trying to learn about the pro players he's inherited. Unless there are a lot of injuries up front, then I don't think Hudon will get a chance this season. That being said, I would like to see the guy given a chance to play for Montreal.
  13. For all you podcast listeners and lovers of a good discussion about the Habs, the newest HW podcast (#52) is now available . We look forward to getting your feedback either here in the forum, in iTunes , or on the Podomatic website. http://www.habsworld.net/2017/02/habsworld-podcast-episode-52/
  14. No kidding! Brian Wilde just said basically the same thing about Daigneault a few minutes ago on TSN690. Unfortunately the word is out that all the Habs assistant coaches will stay. I'm sure CJ will figure out how useless Daigneault is, and replace him in the off season. All newly hired head coaches bring in their own assistants. I will predict that Muller will be safe, but all the rest of them will be let go.
  15. For the Blues 3rd goal I'd like to know why Markov was the one battling the Blues player in front of the goal, while Weber skated around watching the play. Andrei was mismatched and it caused enough of a commotion to distract Montoya, indirectly leading to that goal. I thought Weber was traded for so he could be the one to bring the pain in front of the Habs net.
  16. Going into this game, Colorado had scored the fewest goals in the NHL. That is the team that just shutout Montreal 4-0.
  17. Not to mention that the Habs play the Sens 3 times in March, in a 1 week span!
  18. That was Barberio's second assist tonight. Good for him. Want to bet Pleky doesn't miss a shift for his penalty gaffe? #firetherrien
  19. And now they are down 4-0. Nice to see the youngster Rantanen get the hat trick though.
  20. Bad, bad penalty by Plekanec. This team is laughable tonight.
  21. If it happens then I'll call it the "bye bye Therrien" week. :-)
