  1. Bergevin is fine with the tweaker trades, but when it comes to adding the necessary pieces to make a bona fide contender, he's failed.
  2. I'm not really understanding why this is so hard to grasp
  3. Ottawa should have let their pick go this year
  4. I know this is the wrong thread, but Duchene wasn't a rental. Sometimes when you wait too long, the only deal you can make is the wrong one.
  5. I'm saying we missed out if that deal was in place. I've wanted Vilardi from the beginning
  6. Sam Harvey put up some solid numbers last year
  7. Oh man. We missed badly on that one, if true Vilardi has had some back issues too though....
  8. Donaldson isn't even relatable. He was hurt all season
  9. This is what Eller had to say... As a friend, I hope Max Pacioretty’s situation is resolved soon. He has shouldered one of the toughest jobs in hockey wearing the C for the CH, taking responsibility and blame for things beyond his control. At the same time being one of the top goal scorers in the game. He is as committed and cares as much as anyone I’ve ever played with. Any team would be lucky to have him.
  10. Hearing Pacioretty's speech at his golf tourney and some of the interviews, I have gained a bit of soft spot for him. This whole situation has been handled terribly.
  11. I see JJ got a job as assistant coach with the San Antonio Rampage
  12. Realistically, we should end up getting a first for Pacioretty. Move Shaw, Schlemko, and Been for picks. 2019 draft should get us another 11 or so prospects.
  13. Not to side track this conversation, but I literally just watched a video of Subban training. I miss that dude
  14. My philosophy would be to draft raw talent with late first and early second round picks. I liked the Scherbak pick
  15. He's done nothing to deserve a raise. I like Mccarron, but he took a big step back this past year.
  16. As I said before, Molson didn't have to sign Bergevin to a 6 year deal....if Bergevin was having success in Montreal after a 3 year extension expired, did Molson really think he'd walk? Bergevin is a Terrible g.m, but Molson is just as much to blame for this shit show
  17. Well Hopefully that new job comes in like 3 months
  18. This rebuild would be somewhat exciting, if Bergevin wasn't a part of it
  19. Pacioretty would finally crack 40 on that line
