  1. Edmonton is the only team that has any interest in Pacioretty, that's drafting in top 10
  2. I only watched the interview because of her
  3. Engles said he's 99.9% sure that Pacioretty gets dealt. I think someone on here said that Pacioretty has a house in Florida too?
  4. They need players who can score goals and create offense. The Shaw's of the game get put in place after you have a top 6
  5. Shaw scares me. I think he's on the verge of being damaged goods, with all of these head injuries Alzner is a prime example of character trumping talent.
  6. Streaky for sure, but the guy deserves some credit, no matter how you look at it.
  7. What I don't understand is why Molson signed Bergevin to a six year extension. I mean, did Molson really believe that if he signed Bergevin to a three year contract, he would walk after year three... Come on. Six years was way too much.
  8. Drouin has all the makings to be a star, but trading our top prospect for a winger was a mistake
  9. Another year down the the drain with this guy at the helm.
  10. Rfa's need to be resigned... Danault will be making 3.5 per. As for Shaw, does anyone want him? Especially after all these concussion and now a knee surgery. I can almost guarantee that some salary is being retained, if he does get dealt . Pacioretty will be making 8-8.5 million, Price 10.5, Weber 7.8, Tavares 13. That's 40% of your cap for the next 7 years... All of those guys are over 30, except Tavares... This team has one of the worst d-cores in the nhl and one of thinnest prospect pools in the entire league. How can they possibly win with that kind of money tied up those players.
  11. Montreal can't afford to sign Tavares this season, then resign Pacioretty next season. If this team was in a position where they were in contention for the Stanley cup, then I guess maybe you risk keeping Pacioretty and let him play out his contract, but the Habs are not there.
  12. Nolan and Barbashev are solid prospects. I don't know then... Vilardi is one for sure. I don't know how high his ceiling is?... L.A seems like another good fit for Pacioretty though
  13. I wouldn't be trading Pacioretty for Coyle... I'm thinking more just picks For a potential #1 C, I think Pacioretty to st. Louis makes a ton of sense. I doubt they want to move Kyrou, but Thomas seems like a good candidate
  14. I don't really like it either, I just think Bergevin needs to get real before it's too late. The Tavares dream is just that.
  15. My point is about million dollar contracts being handed out to depth players, but when an extra bit needs to be given to the real meat of a hockey team, the money is just to thin to make work. The entire Neimi contract isn't so much my problem. I will stop flooding the board though.
  16. These are the type or moves that Bergevin needs to make. If he could pull off a move for Coyle and bring in a UFA like Bozak, the centre position looks a little brighter
  17. Funny how I always see you crying about -1 being handed out, yet you do it yourself....
  18. I'm pretty sure Bergevin has tried to get coyle before. Or so the rumour goes
  19. I forgot that Lindgren can be sent down without waivers Thanks for the -1 though
