I think it has more to do with Kadri and his suspension. If kadri never appealed it I think Scheifele doesn't get suspended. But I think NHL was afraid that kadri camp would use the scheifele hit to lower his.

Well who ever came up with the game plan to box Toronto out and keep them Out of the slot and middle of the net should get a lot of credit. That change the out come of the series. I think if they play the same way with the same game plan it could work in this one too. But the jets are a more balanced attack team then Toronto.

I agree if the habs lost this in 5 games I think Bergevin would of been gone and even DD. But with this come back and pushing this series to 7 when no one gave the habs a chance to even win a game, I think it has saved both their jobs.

Your not understanding its on Bergevin for not having a back plan, He's the gm. As a gm target more than one UFA. If your top UFA target is taking to long cut bait and go to the next one before you lose out on everyone you try and target.
