  1. That's absolutely terrible... i had chills reading the story. Terrible way to 'go'; seems like there's but a slim chance she's alright... i hope she's found. Hang in there if you're alive! They're looking for you! Laura Gainey
  2. Yup. Montreal is sitting confortably at #2 in the division. After this game, that position is even more solid. The gap between #1 and us has grown by a point, and the gap between #3 and us has also grown by a point. Not too bad, not too bad at all. Can't wait to see Higgins in action. Btw, Streit is looking outstanding compared to last year. Samsonov played well too, poor guy just can't find the back of the net.
  3. LOL. Hilarious face he's making. Huge game because: 1. It's Buffalo 2. Division game 3. Win against Buffalo = increase morale
  4. I've always felt Kovalev was something of an elitist. It seems when he plays with Koivu, or someone "of his calibre", his motivation jumps up and he unleashes his skill. If he's paired with "less than perfect" linemates, he just falls asleep. This is why i feel Koivu and Kovalev (aka Special K) should be reunited, for Kovalev's sake. The second line can survive without him. (Not like it was producing much to begin with)
  5. I believe Carbo experimented with the following: Ryder-Koivu-Kovalev Latendresse-Plekanec-Samsonov
  6. Three cheers for KoZed, our resident wizard. Please predict a Stanley Cup win now, and i can sleep well tonight. :hlogo:
  7. LOL I've been noticing this too, and i've thought it everytime. I see i'm not the only one who's noticed it. I think it's hilarious. Koivu rocks. Haha.
  8. How quickly people forget. I think it will be the opposite. Higgins was the offensive engine of this team until his injury.
  9. Welcome ShortHanded and MFT77! Two losses, time to rally back with a win. Lots to be optimistic about: 1. Higgins returning this month 2. Streit adapting remarkably well as a forward 3. Bam bam bouillon is back, dishing out the pain 4. Markov returning soon?
  10. "Brodeur doesn't want to play for the Canadiens" Good, we don't want you.
  11. Law of averages will give this one to the Habs tonight. :hlogo: Devils have owned us enough, it's payback time.
  12. I think we need to look at the positive. Yes Habs were robbed tonight, but bad goaltending and refereeing were the primary culprits. The defense was sharp and the offense even sharper. Habs had great control and communication on the ice. There were times they looked totally on fire. The team as a whole (goaltending asside) "clicked" tonight. If that happens next game, barring any stupid non-calls by blind refs, we should come out with a win. I'd also like to point out Rivet played well tonight, he was solid. (What? Oh, nothing. Just saying.)
  13. Lies. There is no such thing as an underserved victory vs Toronto. Dog poop deserves wins vs Toronto. Communism deserves wins vs Toronto. Heck even Toronto deserves wins vs Toronto.
  14. I had a good feeling Habs would pull off the comeback to tie it up. After the way they played all game, it was bound to happen. If the momentum continues, this will end 6-4 or even 7-4 for the Habs. I hope they show up for the third. We can still win this! GHG
  15. BBBLAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH Habs played so well and end the period down a goal? BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH ...
  16. Habs dominated that period. So lame. Habs should be up 3-0 but they got unlucky :/
  17. GO HABS GO! Game prediction: Canadiens - 58 (Koivu (23), Samsonov(3), Niinimaa, Souray (2), Kovalev (4), Markov (2), Dandenault, Bouillon, Streit, Bonk (2), Komisarek, Plekanec (3), Downey, Murray, Latendresse (2), Bégin (2), Huet, Johnson, Perezhogin, Carbonneau, Elvis, The San Fransisco 49ers, Freedom, Pi) Bruins - 0
  18. LOL. Those were pretty funny. Poor Niinimaa needs more than just a book, toss him the hockey encyclopedia
  19. Fine fine, maybe it's just wishful thinking, maybe i'm being foolish in hoping not all NHL players are greedy and interested primarily in money. Oh well. Perhaps the players just don't see things the way some fans do :/ Is David B related to Craig? Maybe that's the secret
  20. Is it so hard to believe? I think it's entirely possible. If not under a million, then in the 1-1.5m at the MOST. He wants to play here, he doesn't seem to care too much for the money, he's getting old, etc. You just wait
  21. I agree 100%. In the heat of the moment it's often impulsive to blast the refs, but it never accomplishes anything. If anything, they get annoyed and retaliate with more penalties. Complain after the match, write a letter to the NHL commissioner if you must, but not during the game!
