Ya Todd is like a broken record. Price could have bailed them out of one or two more games, but he has bailed them out on their only two wins. The team needs more goals, and the D needs to learn to control and clear the puck.

Read on TSN that Latendresse will play on the second line. Man I hope Gomez and Gionta can pot a couple. They get 3 or 4 beautiful scoring opportunities a game. Anyone sorry we didn't go after Gaborik instead of signing Gomer?

For our new first line, I prefer the Oompa Loompa line. Whenever they go on the rode, I always wonder who will run the chocolat factory.

Losing is good. Throw the season. Buy out all the bums, oompa loompas, Alcoholic headcase goalies, no good 4th line prospects, useless matrix defensemen, no heart europeans, the stick boy, everybody. Bring up the Cincinati cyclones and throw the next 3 years. Screw it. Fire timmons and gainey and get some CANADIAN OHL, QMJHL,WHL, elite big beautiful handed players.

I think we should throw the season, buy out everyone but Gionta and Markov, and suck for the next 5 years. It worked for chicago, pitts, and washington. Screw this mediocrity. I usually don't get upset, but I am now. That is enough.

Copied and pasted from another thread on a news sight. Beauchemin 3.8, Komi 4.5, Streit 4.1, Souray 5.4 = 17.8 mil for 4 mediocre dmen. Huet, 5.625 for a backup goalie. Kovalev 5.0, Ribeiro 5.0. That's a total of 33.425 mil for 7 players total. THAT'S why Gainey let these average (except for Kovy) players go. Jack, you don't know what you're writing about. Try another sport. Other than maybe Ribiero, I agree with all of this.

Go re watch the Montreal Red army game in the top 10 Habs games set for proof of this. Tretiak WAS spectacular, but the shots on Dryden were so perfectly set up, that he had little chance on a few of them.

The team was mediocre in their last three games.Taking off a period and allowing the other team to take over. AS far as Fleury goes...Do you even watch him play? He is a good goalie. He has been for two and a half seasons. He didn't look as great when Gonchar was down or Sidney, and he was being hammered every game. He did when his team played in front of him, and he performed well enough to go deep into the final twice and wear a Stanley cup ring.

I think Gainey as done a good job. He has made some hindsight errors, but many of those decisions were based on the information he had at the time. The guy who may get the axe is Timmons. He is in charge of player developement. We are all mad about who Gainey picks. I know he has the last veto, but does he really pick him, or does he like any manager, use his resources and make decisions based on the information provided by those subordinates. The team has a massive scouting system and developement program. There is no way one guy can manage all of those things. It's funny because two years ago this board was full of people saying Timmons would vigh for Bob's job. Well, look at our prospects. We basically have one that I am excited about. Subaan. That's it.

Andrie had his best game yet. If you go back in this thread, I commented on it well before any points were on the board. Paccioretti may have been all over the ice, but he looked solid too. And to the guy who wants to move plek to the first line... Did you watch the game? Gomez is awesome. He uses so much speed when he stick hanles into the zone. He is a true first line centre. Without Gomez, we wouldn't even get into the zone on the PP. He's not 8 million awesome, but I am very impressed with him. What is up with Spacek and cammie. I agree with CC on this one. These are two high profile guys who right now are playing good, but I am not seeing the love. They aren't disapointing me, but I'm not seeing a whole lot from them. Belle looked very good in his first game. Watched an interview after. This guy is ripped. He had a red shirt on and there was muscle on top of muscle. Hope he continues to improve.
