  1. I'll try to reply without spoiling anything. You did read something about Lynn in my post, because her name was once listed on the season opener cast list. Obviously, she wasn't there last night. I won't mention if it is her or another character coming back later this season, though.
  2. What? All that was mentioned is that a certain character is reprising a role. That's hardly a spoiler. All you have to do is look at the cast listings of the episodes for that. Heck, we didn't even mention what character was returning.
  3. Until I see that character back with my own eyes, I won't believe it. They also said that Michelle Forbes was giong to reprise her role as Lynne Kresge from season 2, but that didn't happen tonight. I can't wait for tonight. This is the first season I've watched as it happens. I watched seasons 1-3 on DVD, and season 4 during a marathon. The constant week between episodes is gonna suck. Except for tonight of course.
  4. Any other 24 fans here? Holy crap! I can't believe they killed off Palmer, he was such a good character. A Democrat that I'd have voted for! And then minutes later Michelle gets killed, good God! Talk about axing two main characters in 15 minutes. I guess the rumors about Lynne Kresge returning were false. I'd have liked for her to wake up from her coma and give Mike Novik what's coming to him. She was a loose end that never even got mentioned in later episodes, I thought they were finally rectifying it. Lesson: Do not trust IMBD. And to already show who the mole is, geez. Surely there will be another one in CTU, perhaps the guy Chloe was sleeping with? No, that's way too obvious. This is one show that always keeps me guessing.
  5. Broncos only won because of a BS call. That ball went out the side of the endzone, it should have been New England's ball on the 20. That totally changed the outcome of that game. Thankfully, the AWFUL replay reversal in the Steelers game didn't hurt them. If that wasn't an intereception, then I've never seen one. Worst call I've seen in a long time. Replay failed miserably in this situation. As for Carolina and Seattle, I called both those games correctly, so I went 3/4 on the round, only missing the Broncos/Pat game.
  6. Perhaps you should be the one to get the facts right. In Quebec, only children of Canadian-born Anglophones may attend Engligh speaking schools. Since Guy and his wife were both Francophones, his daughter was forced to attend French speaking school, despite the fact that she was raised speaking English in Dallas. Guy was very concerned that she would struggle in a French speaking school. Perhaps not the main reason he left, it certainly played a role in his decision to not stay with the Habs organization.
  7. Garon WAS not as good as Theo, but right NOW he is clearly the better goalie. Hopefully Theo turns it around, I'm a big fan, plus I just bought his McFarlane.
  8. Who would have thought that my avatar would prove so prophetic?
  9. Haha, I hadn't even realized that had been my avatar for so long. But yeah, Carbs was my favorite Habs back in the early '90s, aside from Roy of course. He was then an excellent assistant for us from 2000-2002. I was quite disappointed when he left, just because the stupid Montreal schools wouldn't let his daughter go to an English speaking school. I guess that's no longer an issue, and it's great to have him back!
  10. I LOVE the fact that Carbo is back, even more than the fact that Julien is gone. Now, as long as Jarvis doesn't become head coach (I saw Green got fired, didin't notice about Jarvis), I'll be VERY happy. If Carbo becomes head coach, I think I might like that. He knows his stuff. Hopefully he can do the job.
  11. You have to be a complete team to win in the playoffs. Plus, 5 of their wins came against the worst division in football. Heck, they lose to the BROWNS! Panthers will win this game.
  12. What's wrong with Fedorov? Have you seen his numbers lately? Now that he's used to Columbus, he's on fire. Having Rick Nash back helps too, hehe.
  13. Boy, that's not racially insensitive. I take it you're a big Sean Avery fan? Anyways, it's no laughing matter. As I stated, it's hilarious, given that nobody was hurt. Just as easily, however, that guy could have gone after someone. Remember, a hockey stick can be a deadly weapon. If the guy were some nutcase, this might not have been such a funny thing. There is always the risk of something bad happening when fans go onto the playing surface. Just look what happened with the Kansas City Royals a couple years back. There was nothing funny about that.
  14. Given that nobody was hurt, it's frickin' hilarious. I equate it to the girl I saw slip on ice and fall down. After I saw she was ok, I laughed at her. I laughed even harder as she tried to go up an icy incline, and kept sliding back to the bottom.
  15. I just saw that on Sports Center, practically the first time I've seen the Habs on there this season, lol
  16. Granted, Brule has only played 7 games, I really like what I've seen out of this kid.
  17. Not only does this thread not belong in the Habs Talk forum, a thread about it already exists in the NHL Talk forum. Thread Closed.
  18. It's not like we're the grammar police here. Hell, I'm not exactly a grammar scholar. The problem here is that koivu-11's posts seem to be at the writing level of a 1st grader. It's not simply that his posts are hard to read, it's the fact that he has not made an effort to improve, despite us asking him numerous times to do so. If that were the best grammar he were capable of, there would be no problem. This does not seem to be the case, however, as he has had every chance to explain his situation or make some changes to his posts. We're not giving him crap for the heck of it or making fun of him, we're simply trying to encourage him to make his posts more readable, so people don't have to go out of their way to read his opinions. Everyone has a right to their own opinion, we just want him to express it so that others don't have to take 3 minutes to read a 5 line post.
  19. Again, what the heck is going on here? Why do you insist on making it so hard for people to read your posts? You don't even make an effort. I have no problem with poor grammar and spelling, but these posts are ridiculous. I want you to be able to post your opinions, but people don't like having to read through run-on sentences that make no sense. We've been very kind to you, and you throw it back in our faces and refuse to show respect to others by making an effort to make your posts readable. For the love of God, at least try. We've gone WAY out of our way to help you, it's your move.
  20. What the heck did you just say?

How can Montreal deal Theo to Bertuzzi? I wasn't aware that Bertuzzi was team and needed a goalie. Perhaps Bertuzzi is trying to get Theo on his fantasy team? This whole thing makes no sense at all. You have Montreal getting Brodeur, but Montreal doesn't seem to give anyone to New Jersey. Come on dude, how many times do we have to ask you to please make your posts readable. Show some respect to your other members.
  22. :?- Are you serious? How can you blast the team's best player? I'm amazed at what he's been able to do. He came back from a serious knee injury, and has played 24 minutes a game. That's more than most D-men. If the guy takes a few shifts off, that's Julien's fault for putting him on the ice so much. You can't expect a forward to play those kind of minutes, especially immediately following an injury.
  23. Ha, that's why in week 17 you never start the QB of a team who has already clinched a playoff spot. Hehe, and the team's best keeper, Randy Moss, was pretty worthless this year. With him at his best, you'd have won a few more games. I finished 4th in that league, an amazing feat if you ask me. Players on my team included Terrell Owens (suspended for most of the season), Daunte Culpepper (Sucked for 6 weeks, then got hurt and sexed it up on a boat), Jamal Lewis (worthless since getting out of prison), and Domanick Davis (missed a number of games), Drew Bennett (missed most of the season).
