Ya, no matter who the Habs face theres definitely going to be fights next round. dlbalr's right aboot the pics. The Habs better win the Cup this year because either way a lot of players will want big raises so they might as well go all the way. Thats why having Cammy and Gio already locked up for years is looking great right now. Not sure aboot you but I could definitely get used to this. So awesome too, its 09/10 season so that another reason why they must win it all, its the last year to continue the tradition of wining every decade.

Yep, in both games. I think the Pens out hit the Caps in game 1 alone. Sure the Caps hit the Habs, but most were love tap like "bumps", the Pens keep rubbing the Habs out into the boards. The Habs need to wake up, they are in the playoffs now. The Habs need to stop being shocked wen they are near the boards and a Pen hammers them into the boards. The Habs need to brace themselves and stop putting themselves in spots like that just for the Pens to hammer them.

What OV did was ingnorant, but its not that big of deal really. However I'd be willing to put money on it that if any Habs player or any other established hockey market teams player did something like to a non established teams flag bearer that Bettman would fine or suspend them for the possibility of permanently loosing a young hockey fan.

I think they have a much better chance than most think. Dont underestimate the Czech D pair. The Czechs are known for being great defensive shutdown team, and the Habs have a set of vets who have been shutting down Russian snipers for years. i.e. hold the line I dont think it will be close to a miracle at all, it just has to be close. The Caps cant realise they are loosing the sries until its to late so the Habs cant win any game by a large margin or the Caps will wake up.

V is pretty good, and theor 3rd G looks to be fairly decent too. I was worried aboot this. Sounds stupid but I'm almost starting to think the Habs have a playoff curse: they score too many goals too quickly.

I hope you are wrong on that one. I definitely want this tone to continue. Your definitely right though saying last nights game had a tone that isnt typical to playoff hockey. IMO most of the games down the stretch had more of a playoff feel for them than last nights playoff game. Its totally to the Habs advantage to try to keep the phyicality out of it. Look at the Buff Bos highlights, those guys were trying to kill each other, and so far it seems like the Habs and Caps are still on each other Christmas card lists, well except for Tommy Jagr and Theo. Thats a good thing. I hope all the Habs fans at the games keep up with the Tom Jagr lines. Wouldnt it be funny with all the hype if Tommy Jagr could get his big brother to play for the Habs next year.

great work by Laps to draw that penatly. Laps totally baited him and he fell for it hook, line and sinker. Laps just held his free arm back and for some silly reason the guy grabbed onto it.

Cammy scoring was huge. The Habs know they need Cammy producing to go any where. Nothing better for him to have got out off his slump right now. Shocked nobody has mentioned the elbow on Spacek. I thought it was uber dirty.
