with the trade the bluejackets made, maybe gainey will add abby in the deal as well, so we will get a little more in return. supposedly gainey is announcing the bouillon signing at 5, and something else. maybe it will have to do with zherdev?

I knwo that u guys are worried about aquiring a centerman, but say if bob did get st. louis why not just move higgins to center. line could be: Perez Koivu Ryder St. Louis Higgins Kovalev 2 very strong lines, and dont forget center was higgins natural position. thats why i dont think its such a big deal if bob gets a winger rather than a centerman.

If bob can get either st. louis or lecavlier, our team will improve greatly. vinny brings great skill, has playoff experience and having him and kovy playing together will ignite them both. if we get st. louis, he will fit well with our team because of his great speed, and his penalty killing would be an asset because he has scored a number of short handed goals in his career. i will be happy if we can get one of those two players.

Markov- best defencemen 4. Higgins- Will mature into a fantastic player 5. Ryder- Led the habs in goal scoring past 2 seasons 1. Elias- very talented 2. I was just wondering if you guys think he can make the club next season, and how big of a roll he will make. I believe he has a very good chance because he looked very good at the World Juniors, and is used to playing with the older players. His skills will be needed in Montreal.

What about rob blake? no one seems to be talking about him, and he's big, right handed, top defencemen. If colorado doesnt retain him, he would be a great fit with the habs. imagine souray and blake on the PP, no one in the league would be able to stop their shots. i htink it would be a great signing.
