Agreed just lock him up long term so they know exactly how much money there is to spend on other guys, 6-7 years maybe more. Now Traditionally longer term means less money per year...but when you take UFA years away from a player you have to pay for those years. I hate that fact but it is what it is. I just hope he is willing to stay at a reasonable Price and not go all crazy with his demands, because he basically knows he has the team by the balls. Who else is going to come in to montreal and play anywhere close to as good Price, hes the man here and it is probably going to cost us. Unfortunately ... Price = Gomez type money does anyone know who his agent is?

i liked how Nokelanien took control in the dieing secondsof the game (with the faceoffs in our own end), he was yelling at Blunden and Gionta to make sure they cover the right guys before he took the faceoffs. shows some experience and awarness of who he is playing with.

i also believe it is time....the "system" is just too boring... and I believe with the changes on defence and new bodies coming in on the forward lines i just dont believe we have the personnel on the team to play this style anymore. I guess my real problem is that PG and JM arent on the same page, but this is just an excuse to get rid of Martin....i never really liked him anyways....he almost always gets out coached in tuff matchups (ie. Philly, Boston, Tampa, Toronto, Buffalo, Calgary) I am losing faith in him to make good decisions during games...
