Looks like we are going to play in our fourth outdoor game. This time it will be the Senators at TD Place in Ottawa. Still not official (as in announced by the NHL) but has been rumored for a while and this is the first report of a plan. Teams sure like hosting us in these events.

Hope that Montoya isn't too rattled from that leg to the back of the neck. Always seems like he is playing through injury. Whether this year vs. Chicago when he had the cramp or last year when he had to play through injury cause the Panthers didn't have an extra goaltender since Luongo had already left with an with injury. Luckily he didn't have to finish that one as Luongo came back. Nice to have the early lead. Lucky bounce but we'll take it.

Great first period for the Habs. They thoroughly outplayed the Ducks. Unfortunately the score doesn't indicate it. If they can continue to play like this all game they should get rewarded. The Shaw scrap was kind of questionable as to why he did it. We had all the momentum up to that point. Guess just take any opportunity to get Perry off the ice.

Not unless its a replacement for Therrien and I don't see Therrien losing him job anytime soon. Gallant is a head coach in this league and should accept nothing else but a head coaching gig. He has had success in Florida so I see him getting picked up pretty quick. People are suggesting he is the fit for Vegas but if I were him I would wait it out. Going to an expansion club doesn't seem like a long term fit since success will be hard to come by and the Vegas owner really wants to win now. Having said that, it did work out for Trotz (Nashville) and Lemaire (Minnesota).

Really like the look of the jersey they are wearing tonight. Very cool to have Newfoundland written across it. Also not bad seeing Redmond back. Hope he does great in his conditioning stint.

I'm not so much either but I like it better than the alternative that most people were predicting in Desert Knights. That one just reminded me too much of the Coyotes for some reason. Now we gotta wait and see the jersey that wont be revealed until Spring. They will miss out on a bit of the holiday shopping.

Feels like it's a disappointment to be tied after two periods. Feel we've played well enough to be up. Tough news on Beaulieu. See how they adjust to just 5 d-man especially when usually you can shield Hanley's minutes

Nice job illWill Some interesting lines coming out of practice. Have to see what combinations they end up going with. Radulov will be missed tonight. His work ethic is great. Glad Pateryn is coming back in.
-
I'll throw one up if nobody has one up by 4 today. Having said that anyone who wants to put one up feel free as it would be great to see everyone who wants to do one have an opportunity. I'll wait till then to give the opportunity.

He is a hard worker. He was one of the guys in the summer that was always working out with Galchenyuk trying to get ready for the season. Glad he's getting rewarded. Saying that I don't think he truly belongs on the top pairing but has played well so far.

So now official. Hanley and Andrighetto are in the lineup tonight in place of Desharnais and Pateryn. The Pateryn one was more out of left field cause the Desharnais news broke earlier but good to switch out players for fresh bodies.

Quite a bit of scoring in a short time to start the second period. First Weber puts the Habs up by 1 with a great hard shot. His fourth of the year to tie for first amongst defence in goals. Price uncharacteristically let's in a bad goal. Bad bounce but should have been aware of the lively boards. 1-1 Galchenyuk taps home a feed from Radulov to put the Habs up 2-1

Shots 14-5 for the Bruins. The trend continues

Don't agree with Byron sitting up on the second line. Carr has more potential there. Hopefully Carr will play great and force Therrien to move him up. That or insert Andrighetto. Both Carr and Andrighetto are a better fit on the second line. Nothing against Byron but hes more your 3rd/4th liner.

Great early response to last nights game. 1-0 Habs. Davey

Mike Condon gets a shutout in his debut for Ottawa. Great to see him do well and wish him the best.
