Prices numbers in the first round were good. I believe something like 925 to finish off Boston? Better than Huet's. Now let's say Huet was good enough to make his team reach the second round then you could compare the second round to the second round There is no such thing as being good enough to give a team a chance to win. Without a star goalie, rarely do teams get anywhere in the playoffs. I do agree that Price played pretty bad this round, I think this was a great learning experience and will have a positive effect on his future as the starting goalie of the montreal canadiens.

As Tony Marinaro said on Team 990, what the hell has Huet done? How many games has he truly played lights out? Oh well... I guess when people have an agenda.

It cost us a trip to the third round? Did you ever see Huet play against Philly? That soft goal from the blue line he let in? Get a clue.

For me Wednesday is a critical moment in the series. Obviously for the fact that we could be down 3-1 but also for how the rookie goaltender handles the pressure. For sure he is in a big slump but this is the time when he has to find himself. He usually steps out of a bad game with a good performance but I think he has reached the point where he is unsure if he can and that`s where he needs to step back and seek guidance. Maybe from the veterans on his team?

Obviously I mean it is never lights out for any team. You always have to battle and battle and battle. If you can't battle, you won't win. We'll pick it up. Round 2 is not where it ends.

I'm no coach but I like to go with my gut instinct. I think Carey Price will start the next game, and he will be the reason we win this round. He'll be back, stronger than ever. Go :hlogo: Go

Anything less than a shutout and people talk about Price like he is off his game. He's not perfect, he's going to let in goals, and sometimes they will be those he will want to have back.
