  1. We now have Theo, Garon, Fichaud, Danis, and Michaud. Signing Danis allows us to dump Fichaud, who we only have around to man the nets for Hamilton since we aren't deep at goalie behind Theo and Garon.
  2. He's been named one of the finalists for the Hobey Baker. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/news/story?id=1772989
  3. I don't really care about the outcome. I just want to see Theo play well and Kovalev gel with his linemates. Those are two key things we need for the playoffs. Of course, I hope those things will, indeed, lead to a win tonight. [Edited on 3-31-04 by Fanpuck33]
  4. Not trying to be an ass here, just wanted to let you know you can edit posts so you don't have to create another post to make a correction. (Green button above your post)
  5. Thanks for the article. I don't like the sound of a Souray wrist injury, even if they are only being cautious.
  6. I just saw an article headline on ESPN titled "Souray favors wrist in practice." It was an INsider article, so I couldn't read it. Anyone know anything about this?
  7. Such a bittersweet way to clinch the playoffs.
  8. Haha, yeah. Aside from my 70 year father, I know no other Habs fans personally. Anything Habs I own is from catalogs and magazines and stuff. Although a few years back I was able to visit the Forum before they stopped playing hockey there. It was a great experience. I also got to the Boston Garden before it closed. (I hate the Bruins, but was a huge Celtics fan while Bird was around.) Both buildings were so great and full of such history. Hopefully the Habs will visit the Bluejackets next year, since I am somewhat near Columbus. This is their fourth season, and Montreal has only visited here once, much to my distress. I was able to go when they played in Columbus, so that was awesome, my first live Habs game.
  9. It was only 5 bucks, it was just in a bin of stuff they were trying to get rid of, probably been on the shelves for a long time without getting sold.

    Awesome

So I'm walking through Best Buy in Columbus, OH. Much to my amazement, I see a video with the Habs logo on it. I take a closer look, and it's highlights from the 1993 playoffs. I have the finals on tape, but this has highlights from each of the series. How awesome! Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined I would have found it in Columbus. 11. Apparently you fixed it, or it just wasn't showing up on your computer.
  12. LOL, those are great.

  14. I hope they win, I feel so much better when they are winning. I am always very optimistic after a win, but very pessimistic after a loss. So many years of inconsistency has messed with my head I guess.
  15. 108.51 is my high score overall. I can get 125 on accuracy every time, get 107.2 quite frequently on hardest shot, but I suck at the rapid shot. Is it me, or does the arrow change speeds?
  16. Oops, when I downloaded it, I thought it said it was 7.8 kb, not 78 kb. Had I noticed that, I would have known it would be impossible to shrink it that much. I thought I only need a couple hundred bytes down, not a few thousand. My bad, thanks though.
  17. http://img3.photobucket.com/albums/v12/Fro...er/Habs_eat.gif Puck, that would be awesome if you could shrink it to about 7.1 kb, it has to be that or less to allow me to load it on the program I am using. If you can't, it's not a huge deal, so don't waste your time if you can't get it. Thanks [Edited on 3-26-04 by Fanpuck33]
  18. Nope, I was already using Paint. I tried both manually shrinking it and shrinking from the menu, both stopped the movement.
  19. Hey Spider man, how can you shrink a moving .gif file? Whenever I try, it stops moving. Thanks for any help.
  20. Dagenais either belongs on Ribs line or no line at all. And since he doesn't really belong on the 2nd line, leave him out. I like the guy, but he doesn't show enough heart and effort most of the time. I wish he would because he and Ribs are pretty good together. Withour Ribs, he is almost nothing. Heck, the only reason we signed him was because of past chemistry with Ribs. And don't forget about Begin, he'll be centering either the 3rd or 4th line, and it will probably be Dagenais' spot he takes in the lineup for the playoff lines.
  21. I can't believe I'm saying it, but I think Yanic should stay on the top line. He was worthless for two months, but somebody finally found a way to light a fire under his ass. I wish they would have done it a long time ago. If he's playing well, why move him? If he reverts to his old self, then move him down again. Then again, you have to at least hope that the coach knows what he is doing better than any of us do.
  22. Boston leads Ottawa 2-0 after 2. Tampa leads Toronto 4-2 midway through the 2nd. Florida leads NJ midway through the 2nd. Sure would be nice if all those scores hold up.
  23. Since nothing else is going on here, is there any news on Brisebois? He's been playing good hockey this year, hope his groin will be healthy by the playoffs. In the meantime, it's good for Komi to get playing time, hopefully he'll be here full time next season.
