Tinordi healthy & not dressed today for Hamilton. Has been re-called by Habs, will they pair him with the Swedish Frankenstein? Can only really see him paired with Boullion.
-
Vail with 1g 1a, continues to do well, pile up points and 12th in OHL scoring. Crisp 1a today but -3
-
2 goal lead is a little nicer.
-
You mean LL on 4th line? Curious Beaulieu looks to not be an automatic recall? He hasn't done as much as I thought he would, but does have 4 points in 5 games since sent down. And Tinordi? Hope is a call up and he isn't involved in a deal.
-
Well done! If only the Swedes had invited Murray, who knows....
-
nice shot by Kunitz, stick a fork in em.. Pernell Karl will get his 3rd gold medal with Hockey Canada and wont be banged up like some, so all good for Habs.
-
Pretty much smothered USA and Swedes, so far. A lot of big skilled Canadian forwards can shield puck pretty well and would be hard to contend with for any d-man. Carey pretty solid once again.
-
The Cole Harbour Kid strikes again!
-
Bozon got his 30th, so to be fair both Gregoire-Bozon reached in same day. Kootenay got smoked by Mitch Holmberg who scored his 52-53-54th in 1st period.
-
with guys like Duchene, St Louis and Rick Nash as 4th liners, freakin deep team.
-
Yes, as you predicted. Now to see if Bozon ties em tonight. Nevins back off suspension and gets his 17th.
-
Another L PP woke up and Dumont did well, but not a lot of positives.
-
Dumont keeps game alive.
-
Vail got 30 in 59 games Gregoire got his 30th today in game 57.
-
Well now 1 for 19 on PP
-
U think Sweden should be the favoured team? Don't you know Canada got it rigged, with all our own refs.
-
L.A. is possible destination for Markov, Rangers-Detroit-Ducks also seem maybes. Eller would be appreciated on many teams and why Bergevin said he got lots of call about him last deadline. A big young RFA centre who can hit, skate, good on faceoffs, PK and pretty defensively responsible; would be on many shopping lists.
-
We all should.
-
Woooh, don't lump me in as a Babcock hater bud, I actually think he is a pretty smart pragmatic coach that has iced best team he thinks he has and looked darn good yesterday.
-
Nik Ehlers of Halifax is really producing and must be rising in rankings.
-
Don't look pretty on Dog scoresheet, only gave up 21 shots and Tinordi got physical (which I guess a positive), but Beaulieu a game worst -3 and 0 for PP again. I thought he would do very well during Olympics with Hamilton.
-
And Reway joked that Hudon stopped another shot of his, I assume would of been an empty netter or something for 6th point. Poirier really doing well for Gatineau and Flames I think made a good choice with him.
-
If trade Markov for late 1st round pick like this fellow; Alex Tuch 32 USNTDP (USHL) May 10/96 RW R 6'4/213 32 20 18 38 may be much better off for long run, than the difference with- vs without Markov is in very short term (or letting him walk in July), plus many want Pateryn-Tinordi to start playing in NHL and moving Markov would signal they have faith in the youth.

I just hope i can avoid all media and conversations till after i catch replay of game. But, darn near impossible unless i hide in the bush till end of day, but every frickin logger no matter how remote is connected these days.

Really like Subban's play and agree Just the negative reaction to him as a spare part on a stacked d, is just a bit much, sure it is debatable but not a "major idiotic' call by Babcock and I am not gonna burn my passport and pull for USA, nor even predict they will beat us and just hope is a good game by both teams.
